He stood in the clearing, tall and proud. His long banners curled, and gleamed. He grazed, enjoying the sweet summer grass. He called out, whickering to any mares.

Lynx [/b] It's not that unusual, when everything is beautiful. Just another ordinary miracle today...
A dainty chestnut essa trotted gracefully through Belle Valle, a young bay colt clinging close to her side. Her banner flowed out behind her, strung high like any other arabian would carry it, but thankfully for her, it was too early for her to become in heat again after the birth of her colt, Taren. Auds pricked on the essa's crown at the whicker from a nearby stallion. Lynx slowed her pace to a stop, Taren pricking his auds as well, copying his mother. Two pairs of green orbs set on a nearby stallion. Taren folded one aud back and rubbed against his dam's barrel for comfort. He hadn't seen strange stallion's before, only his sire and a few glances of the stallions that roamed Liberta, but they had a simular musk like his mother, only she had more of a lavender scent then they. Lynx touched her muzzle to Taren's, and nickered softly back to the proud-looking stag.

The stallion was Arisu. He looked more of the Adalusian type. He bowed to the mare who stopped nearby. His forelock covered his eyes, "Hello fair maiden. Young sir, I am Arisu," he called out.

Lynx smiled softly, making her way over to Arisu. "Hello, sir Arisu," she replied, dipping her head,"I am Lynx, and this is my son, Taren." Taren tilted his head, small nares flaring as he drank in Arisu's scent. He swished his short, fluffy banner, curved crown nodding once to Arisu. He couldn't really talk yet, and only a few jumbled up words could esape his maw. He was still working on it. Lynx stood half infront of her colt, half next to him, protective of her offspring in case this stallion had any ideas.

Arisu
He noticed Lynx standing infront of her foal, protective. "Lynx, I would not dream of hurting a foal, especially young Taren." He took a few steps forward, slowly, not wanting to scare them. "What brings you here m'lady?"

Lynx nodded slowly, relaxing a bit. She nudged Taren gently and looked back to Arisu as he asked her a question. She shrugged a little, flicking her auds. "I don't know, just wandering. Its so pretty here, and I figured Taren needed to explore," she replied, smiling softly. Her green orbs wandered, straying towards the trees and mountains.

"Interesting," he murmured. He followed her gaze to the mountians. "Missing something?" he asked. His blue orbs studied her.

Lynx shook her mane, looking back to Arisu. "Hmm? Oh, no, I just like the sights," she replied, nares flaring a little. Taren became bored, and pranced around his dam a few times before sliding his maw under her barrel for a drink. Lynx grunted, stomping a hoof, but Taren didn't seem to notice.
