Venom It was stupid. A stupid mistake. Now there was no turning back. The small mare lowered her head, liquid dropping to the cold earth. 'how could i be so stupid..' Head rose, hot pink, bloodshot eyes closed again. She had made a big mistake. Venom knew she was pregnant by now, but no one knew the sire. Except Lassan. He was the sire. Legs aching, she reached Liberta finally. The pretty brindle found the cave where she had birthed Polaris, and layed there, thinking for a while. 'how could i be so stupid?! She commanded to herself, sobbing. Before the foal was born, she would leave. Why should she stay here. She messed up. Flame.. Polaris... The herd she came to know and love. 'i'm sorry..' She whispered to herself once again, lowering her head.. </3 [/blockquote] 'it was a fine affair but now it's over. <3[/sup] Muse` Awesome for my little girl! Polaris The colt threw his crown as he caught a familiar scent in the air. His mother. A smile spread onto his face. even though the ebony and ivory brindle was almost a year old, he kind of missed being with his mother. He wanted to keep that a secret though. He knew that he would never want to be unable to see her. He beagn to wonder if Flame, and all other foals felt this way.
Flame. She was his sister, but not by birth. Did she ever miss her mother? Polaris was only a month or so of age when Raine died giving birth to her and Masquerade's filly. If Flame remembered her mother at all, she must feel very alone. Polaris figured that she probably didn't even remember her at all. When Flam ecould first walk, Lassan and Night had brought her to Liberta to be taken in by Venom.
The brindle slowed his trot down when he saw his mother, who looked rather depressed, all by herself. "Mummy!" he called. He broke into a quick canter and halted next to her, laying his muzzle on her shoulder, since he was still smaller than she was.
