Flame Dancing with the flames we feel the rainbow fire, we feel the fire’s warmth, we see the fiery lady dancing with the gypsys so magical, so dangerous…
The thundering of the mares hooves could be heard for miles, her temper flaring like the tassles that danced with the same appearance of fire behind her. Her nape tossed as she gave a powerful buck, but it did no good in releasing any of her pent up anger. Nares snorted, flaring wide. She was becoming more and more dark-tempered, was her alliance changing sides? The thought tumbled through her mind. No! She denied it fiercely. She would never go to the darks. Foreleg stamped in defiance. It was so hard to keep herself pulled together when she had been so alone for so long. Flame hadn't seen or heard from her adopted brother and mother in months. A sadness crept up within her heart, replacing the fury that had once occupied it. Chest heaved a great sigh and she nearly collapsed to the ground, too overrun with emotion to continue on. Orbs glanced around, she was on the very outskirts of Terra del Liberta. Figures... Pillars moved on mechanically. She wasn't conscious of the direction they were leading her anymore, but found herself beneath the shade of a giant oak, its knarled roots and bark exposed from the terrain like a menacing monster, ready to capture unsuspecting prey. Her pillars finally gave way not 10 feet from the base of the tree, her bodice collapsing onto the dirt powdered ground. Orbs closed absentmindedly and soon she was in another reality, one completely opposite of the situation had found herself in, in reality.

* Polaris * The star maker says it ain't so bad The ebony and ivory brindled colt was trotting through his 'father's' land, looking for his 'sister'. He hadn't seen her in a while and he was becoming rather worried about her. Where could she have gone? Polaris slowed when he heard the beating of hooves. They weren't heavey foot falls like those of an older horse, no, they were light and quick, like that of a younger, more agile equine. It had to be Flame. Polaris turned to the left and broke out into a canter, hoping to find his younger sister.
Polaris slowed when he started approaching Terra Delle Liberta's boundries. She wouldn't have left. Would she? Even if she did, Polaris would go and find her. He finally came to a halt and looked around, his blue orbs scanning the land for any sign of his sister. Nothing. He snorted and stamped a dagger on the soft ground. He moved forth at a walk, sticking his maw up in the air to see if he could catch her scent. Ah ha! There is was! She was close by, he could tell.
Polaris finally saw her lying under a very large oak tree. Was she asleep? He quietly picked his way over to her, bending his crown down to get a closer look. Yup. She was, in fact, asleep. Polaris sighed and figured he would wait for her to awake. He carefully picked his way over to a patch of grass near her and started to graze.

[~Flame~] Dancing with the flames we feel the rainbow fire, we feel the fire’s warmth, we see the fiery lady dancing with the gypsys so magical, so dangerous… A presence not far away caused the femme to stir. Orbs half opening to glare at the equine that dared to wake her from her slumber, the only reprieve from her life. His form was blurry at first, but when her gaze adjusted, she immediately recognized Polaris. Dome shot up, harks perked in interest. How did he find her out here? And just why was he here? Lids squinted over her deep violet pools. Why was he here all of the sudden? After so long she had gone without so much as a word from him or her "adopted mother". The leaves crackled beneath her as she lifted herself off the ground. Polaris. Lyri were neither friendly nor hostile, merely indifferent. Her heart ached for him, for his familiar scent, but she would not let him know that, especially now. Banner flicked over her charcoal pelt, brushing off the dirt and grass that had stuck to her. Harks returned to their normal stance on her crown, pools still focused on him.

* Polaris * The star maker says it ain't so bad The dream maker's gonna make you mad The brindled colt looked up as he heard his anme being called. "Flame." he said in a happy tone of voice. He walked over to where she stand. He gave her a horse's equivalent of a hug, by putting his head and boa aroudn her own. He had so many questions to ask her, like where had she been? He had been looking for her for a while now and he just happened to find her here.

[~Flame~] Dancing with the flames we feel the rainbow fire, we feel the fire’s warmth, we see the fiery lady dancing with the gypsys so magical, so dangerous… He appeared happy to see her. She received his hug, her heart squeezing for she had missed him so much. Her own dome snaked around his and lay atop his whithers. How have you been doing? It's been so long. Her lyri were full of warmth now, her anger forgotten. Tassles hung loosely across her marked facade. Colored orbs scanned his hide, he was healthy and strong. Kissers pulled into a wide grin. It had been a long time. They had both grown so much, though she would never forget what Polaris looked like. His brindled pelt stood out among the herd.

* Polaris * The star maker says it ain't so bad The dream maker's gonna make you mad Polaris pulled back from her, looking at her half masked face. "I've been well, just worried about you!" he said, his voice still excited. "I dunno where you got off to. I've been looking for you for a while now and I just happened to find you now. I mean how far could you have gone? It's not like Father's land is that big, right?" he said, the last part mostly to himself. Yes, he knew Lassan was not his real father, but he saw him as his father since he never had a chance to meet his real father. "Enough about me, what about you?"

[~Flame~] Dancing with the flames we feel the rainbow fire, we feel the fire’s warmth, we see the fiery lady dancing with the gypsys so magical, so dangerous… His familiar vocals were a relief to her auds. She was used to his chatter and it helped her calm somewhat. I'm sorry for worrying you. I've just been off wandering...and thinking. Her parentage was most of what she had been working through, although it really shouldn't have bothered her any more. Her whole life she'd grown up without her real parents. Other thoughts had tumbled across her ever-thinking mind, but she wouldn't go there again, at least not for a while...or so she hoped. Anyways, I am glad to see you again. I've missed you too. A wide grin replaced the somber expression that had grown on her facade as she pondered her reasons for traveling this far away from the heart of her home lands. I haven't seen or heard from another member of the herd in months. How is everyone? Orbs flickered to his for a moment, holding his gaze. How odd it was to be with Polaris again, or even another equine for that matter.
(for some reason i have really low muse tonight. its probably cause im stressing over my exams for tomorrow.)

* Polaris * The star maker says it ain't so bad The dream maker's gonna make you mad Polaris nodded as she told him where she had been off to all this time. Although, what in the world could she be thinking about? Polaris figured that it had to do something with her real mother, Raine, and who ever her father was. Polaris had only met Raine a few times, and he didn't really like her all that much, sure he was polite to her, but she wasn't his favourite mare in the herd. As for Flame's father, he didn't have a clue as to who it could be. He figured that it was some equine from one of the dark herds. He remembered seeing a few other young horses around his age with white masks on one side of their face, just like Flame's. That was who her father had to be, the sire of all those other foals as well.
Polaris' attention was drawn back to his 'sister' when she asked him what had been going on in Terra Delle Liberta. Polris shook his crown and sighed. A lot had gone on in the time span that she had been away. "Well, we have a few new herd members, which is a good thing." he said, rather happily. "Um, there is a new foal." He looked up and to the right while he thought about what else there was to tell. "Oh yeah! Artava, that nice Beta mare was killed by wolves. Illindream is okay at least." he said, smiling a bit as he mentioned Illindream. He felt bad for the poor filly, having her mother killed like that. It was easier for Polaris, not knowing if his father was dead or alive. It never really bothered him until recently.

[~Flame~] Dancing with the flames we feel the rainbow fire, we feel the fire’s warmth, we see the fiery lady dancing with the gypsys so magical, so dangerous… Auds swiveled intently with each pitch in his vocals. She listened to all of he updates in earnest, eager to hear what all had gone on in her abscence. Dome nodded somberly at the mention of Artava. She hadn't known the fea, but the fact that she was a herd member was the same as if they had known eachother. Wolves were terrible beasts. That's wonderful that we have some new members. It should help to bring up everyone's spirits, especially after Artava. She commented easily. Illindream. I feel like I should remember her. I guess I've been gone for so long that I can't remember clearly. After pausing, a small smile crept onto her facade once more, slightly mischievous. I've been exploring. She stopped there for a moment. Her adventurous nature had always gotten the better of her. Her heart beat faster now, eager to divulge the things she'd seen and experienced. ooc: how old are they? im deciding between two "paths" for flame and i can't make up my mind lol. it will help me decide which to go with

ooc// Well Polaris is around 10 months, so that makes Flame around 7 or 8 months. =)
The colt smiled faintly as she spoke. "Yeah. I think those new members will help some of us stop grieving over Artava." he said as he shook his crown. He then perked up a bit after she stopped talking about Artava's death. "Illindream? You don't remember her?" he questioned Flame. "Well, maybe you never met her. I dunno. I swear you've met her before." he said, trying to recall wether or not his 'sister' had ever met the Arabian filly. "Illindream is that seal bay Arabian filly. She's about a year old?" he said, describing the filly to her. It didn't really matter anyway. "Where have you been exploring?" he asked, his eyes lighting up. Polris loved going new places and seeing new things. Too bad the couldn't have gone with her.

The brindled mare was grazing quietly a few yards away from her offspring and adopted foal. With them out of her sight at the moment, she whickers, femme call echoing. Ears swiveled, head up, she gives another call before trotting over the hill. She can breath a sigh of relief, they're under the tree. 'polaris? flame?' faint call from the mare as she gets to them, giving polaris and flame a lick on the neck.. [/blockquote]

[~Flame~] Dancing with the flames we feel the rainbow fire, we feel the fire’s warmth, we see the fiery lady dancing with the gypsys so magical, so dangerous… She still didn't seem to remember the filly, even after Polaris described her. Well, she was sure to meet her eventually, now that she was home again. Kissers smiled at her brother's familiar excitement over adventures. She was glad to have him back again. I've been exploring down by the darks' lands and the unclaimed lands. Her voice was a whisper, though she couldn't see any others nearby at the moment. It was so much fun! Before she could divulge any more, she caught site of Venom, her adopted mother, trotting over to where the were beneath the tree. Kissers pulled into an innocent smile as she winked at Polaris and nearly fell into a fit of giggles. Maw nuzzled Venom's neck, happy to be back with her family.
