. A s i a n n e . The maremanno fea stepped through the willow trees, she sighed, unknowing of the terror soon to be unleashed. She called out, unseeing the danger through her blinded left eye.

The sleek, ebony stag raced through the land. His long, thin pillars hit the ground, the sound from his daggers echoing across the willowed land. The ground was rather hard, which was odds ince it was normally moist. The Arab snorted and threw his crown, sending his already wild banners to the other side of his neck as he ran. Was that even possible, to get them to the opposite side of his boa? Seemed to be, since he just accomplsihed the feat.
Lassan slowed a bit as he approached a fallen tree. A large one at that. He flicked his banner as he paced himself. He counted his strides, three, two, one, then gracefully jumped over the log, landing daintily on the other side, picking his speed back up, oblvious to the fact that he would soon be saving another equine from a nasty fate.

Asia stepped throug the willows, making her way through the forest. She emerged into a clearing with a crystal clear brook running through it. Three wolves silently crept up on the unknowing mare. They were downwind so she couldn't scent them. She drank from the brook, enjoying the pure taste of the water. The wolf on the point let loose a soft snarl, enough for Asia to hear. She screamed in terror, unseeing, she reared, screaming again.

Lassan halted when he heard the scream form and equine in distress. His auds flicked, locating the direction in which the sound had come from. He snorted and took off in that direction. Who ever this equine was needed his help. He could only hope that he could save her. Well, at least it sounded like a her from the pitch of the scream. For all Lassan knew, it could be a young colt. That didn't matter though, they just neededd help.
The ebony Arab arrived on the scene to find a dark cloured fae surrounded by a few wolves. Lassan lket out a loud whinny, causing two of the four wolves to look at him. "Get away from 'er!" he bellowed, charinging at one of them. The canine scampered away. Lassan made his way for the large one, which he assumed was the leader. He halted near the lead and reared up, attempting to come down on the dog. The wolf was too fast for Lassan and ran around him, biting his right hind leg. Lassan kicked like crazy, finally knocking the enemy in the chest. He heard the crack of ribs. Good. Lassan spun around to meet the animal head on. This time it was Lassan who was too fast for the canine. He charged at the creature, finally whacking it hard against a tree. The wolf whimpered and limped off with it's croonies. Lassan knew the animal would die within a few hours. "Are y'ok?" he asked the fae, his vocals a bit winded and tired.

Asia saw the ebon stag rushing to her rescue. When he was done fighting the wolves he had asked her if she was okay."I'm fine, I just didn't see them, I am blind in my left eye."

Lassan gave a small smile to the mare when she said she was find. "Y'better keep a closer listen out fer those dogs then, Miss." he said in a serious tone. He hated to see fellow equine maimed by the bloodthirsty canids that raomed the land. He was just glad that she was lucky enough to have him near her, or maybe he was lucky enough to be near her. Either way, it was a win win situtation. The fae got her hide saved, and the wolf would not see tomorrow. Lassan hoped that maybe, just maybe, the wold he injured today was the one thta killed off the Beta Mare of his land, Artava.
Lassan looked back at his right hinf leg where the creature had torn his flesh. He had a few nasty wounds. But he was already starting to clot, so there was nothing to worry about, except for the limited use of that leg. Oh well, it was worth it. That was just the kind of horse he is, rather see himself hurt than another. "Sorry fer bein' rude, and not introuducin' m'self." he apologised. "I am Lassan." His chocolate orbs stared at her for a few more seconds before he spoke again, "Y'gotta callin' m'dear?" he asked, curious as to what the vixen's name could be.

"I am called Asianne, but I prefer th' name Asia," she replied, she dipped her crown in a greeting. Her milky brown eyes, one seeing, the other un-focused. She had lost her sightwhen she born.

Lassan nodded ever so slightly. “Nice to meet you Asia.” He said. “I’m sorry that it had to be under these circumstances though. I’m sure you feel the same way.” Lassan said. He’d much rather meet this beautiful fae under other circumstances. Lassan thought that she must be rather shaken up after what had just happened to her. Did she have a place to go? Lassan would feel bad if he just left her, possibly open for another attack. “Asia, do you need an escort back to your herd?” he asked, hoping to hear that she didn’t have a herd. ooc// sorry for the short post. It was late when I typed it and I ran outta muse.

"I-I have no herd." she said ashamedly. She was embarrassed that she had no herd. Any other mare would, except her.

Lassan's feature brightened a little a t this. He was actually happy that she had no herd. Yes that was mean to think that but, hey he liked her and wanted her in his herd. Was that such a crime? "Oh." he simply said. Would she want to go with him? She did sound like she was sad, or ashamed about not having a home, so he'd give it a shot. "Asia, would you like to join my herd?" he asked, his lyrics strong and determined.
