Now at a brisk trot, Frasco entered Inferno Su Terra. He hadn't looked back behind himself the whole time, but it didn't really matter. If she came, she came. If she didn't, well, she didn't. As simple as that. With a loud whinny, he signaled to his Herd Mates that he as back home.
The thickly muscled stallion had a thirst to quench, and it was urgent. After weaving his bulk through the intwined branches of the forest, he came upon the water hole. His bulk came to an abrupt hault, and Frasco lowered his velvet maw to the liquid. After a few minutes of drinking, his tank was filled to the brim. He turned his dappled form around, and began to dig some snow out of the grounds way, and snatch at the overdue flora.

Desert Rose blooming in the most difficult situations..
The mare followed behind walking the whole way there was no hurry. She finally saw the stag drinking from a watering hole, she went up beside him , and lowered her head. She drank the cold water till her thirst was quenched. She lifted her head up and stood staring off into the distance, although all she was doing was thinking.

Ooc: I'll try to get Lizzeh to post with Hannibal. She hasn't been on for a while, so it might take a day or so.

His ears flicked at the sound of Frasco's whinny, and the dark stallion named Hannibal moved through his harem, his ears pinned back. He had scented the stallion enter the lands, and the scent of a new mare. What was this? His nostrils flared, as he weaved through the trees, his darkened coat looking odd against the snow white of the lands. Shaking his head when he appeared at the pond, ears tilted back. So, he decided to bring a new mare to this territory? An angry snort issued from the lead, as he walked toward the pair. "And what do you think you are doing?" Hannibal's voice was laced with his anger, as blue eyes narrowed at Frasco. Of course, he wanted to know why this stallion was bringing in mares. Especially since there wasn't enough foliage within the territory to feed the small herd he already had. Ears flicked forward, and he wondered where the rest of the herd was. He wanted to make sure they all were here, so that they could finally go over herd ranks. It was about time he announced who got what rank. And he thought that Spirit deserved a higher rank than a slave. Flicking his dark tail behind his large body, the dark stallion lifted his head up, staring at the mare that Frasco was standing next to, waiting for them to speak. Thoughts of Tuula also wandered to Hannibal's mind, and he smiled faintly to himself.

Frasco nodded as his Alpha navigated towards the vix and him. He wasn't oblivious to the anger in Hannibal's eyes, he just felt like he should keep his cool. Maybe Hannibal would choose to do the same. "And what do you think you are doing?" The stags lyric's thundered in a harsh tone. With a hushed sigh, the frosted brute looked at Desert Rose, and then back to his Lead. "If I'm correct, I was never notified of your reglations. Is it a fault for one to bring a doe home with him?" He questioned, his voice stable and curious to hear what Hannibal would say.
Looking around again, he smiled crookedly. "If you are not pleased with her, I will gladly rid her of your lands." Frasco began to wonder if his Lord would retort with some reply such as: "It's not that she displeases me. It's you." And then the Paint would kick him out of the herd.

Desert Rose bowed her head seeing this was the lead stag, he was clearly angered with the satg bringing her back. I..I'm sorry m'lord, I shall go if you want me too, and if I am allowed to stay I will gladly serve you, and do whatever you want me to. She didn't really want to be a slave but if she had to she would. It would be hard to have a foal and keep safe all on her own, but she would do it if she had to. Rose looked to frasco who was standing beside her , he shouldn't get punished for bringing her here. m'lord don't be upset with him he didn't bring me here I..I followed him here, at my own will. Please if you are going to be mad and punish, be mad at me and punish me. So she lied a little but she didn't want him to get in trouble besides he was something and she was nothing so why did it matter if she was gone?

The speckled ivory trotted in, her auds back as she came upon the scene. The wind gushed past her, warning that Hannibal wasn’t in the best of moods. The mare took this into consideration; her crown lowered as she approached – showing respect to her Alpha. When her two-toned orbs met Frasco and Desert Rose, she raised her head immediately. Her head wasn’t completely up on sight of Frasco. However, it was at its peak when she saw the new mare.
Nostrils quivered as she studied the one dubbed Desert Rose. Wind was gushing around the group as she did. A few moments later, Tuula tilted her head, the crest in her neck flattening as she knelt it forward. Coming back up, the mare murmured, “is she with foal?” The mare’s remark wasn’t so much a question; she knew the answer.
That query… rather statement… having been spoken, the mare took a step back; this allowed her to be at side with her master. Her bodice leaned into his gently, protecting each of them from the cold air on one side.
Orpheus had a lazy gait as he came in behind his mother. The word pregnant hit his tender auds, and he made no real reaction. The colt looked as if he had just woken; a long yawn left his maw. He came up on his father’s opposite side. Glancing at him, he could see he was already a bit irate. Smriking maliciously, he reared a back leg out, casually kicking his father’s own back leg. Why? For ‘kicks.’

Listening to the two, the grand stallion's ears flicked at their words. Eyes narrowed ever so slightly, and he flared his nostrils, as if trying to make an important decision. Just like the one he was also making about Tuula. Shaking his head, the painted horse's ears flicked forward. "If she will make this herd stronger, she may stay, Frasco. But she is under your eye. If she wanders off, I expect punishment to ensue." As Tuula walked to his side, and stated her peice, eyes went to Frasco, as if asking the question. If this mare was pregnant with his foal, she wasn't going anywhere any time soon. But one hoof out of line in front of Hannibal, she wasn't going to be taken lightly. Turning his head slightly, a softer side ot the regal stallion emerged from under the rough exterior. "Hello love," he whispered so just Tuula could here, and he nosed her neck lovingly. At Orpheus' kick, the stallion was going to repremand him, but instead gave his son a nip on his shoulder, ears flicked back ever so slightly. "Don't forget who is boss, Orpheus."
Another colt sidled up to Tuula's side, the regal aura of his father radiating from him. He had grown considerably, standing a bit taller than Orpheus. And he was still growing. Looking over to Orpheus, Bolin rolled his eyes at his twin's childish antics. "Really, Orpheus. Are you that young? I thought that was supposed to be when you were younger." A sibling rivalry could be seen, even to the untrained eye. Flicking his growing tail, Bolin nudged his mother gently, and stomped a forehoof onto the ground. What exactly was going on here? He could feel the anger subsiding in his sire, but what was really up here?

After all he had done to her, she still bluffed for his sake. His eyes were wide as she made up a false past. Then, he grinned slightly, but it fanished, as not to let his Lord catch on.
The Andalusian watched as Tuula and her two young came over. Tuula warmly greeted Hannibal, but no such cheer was spread around. The juveniles seemed to both be colts, and resembled both their dam, and sire. And fiesty they were. One of them actually kicked his warden in the leg. Luckily Hannibal have him a swift nip on the shoulder, and put him back in his place. At least for the time being.
When the stag's Goddess questioned Desert Rose on her innocence, Frasco spoke up. "As you have proboby guessed, yes, she is." And when Hannibal told them that she could stay, a sudden relief washed over him. He deffinately didn't love her, but now bearing, he felt he should look out for her. Oh, what a Light sort of thing to do!!
He was supposed to punish her, which he certainly would do. Raising his maw a tad higher, he spoke "Yes, I shall punish when needed." Only, this vix seemed to be fairly obediant.

The speckled mare smirked as she felt her Lord’s touch against her neck. While the others surely couldn’t tell what the stag had murmured, it seemed to please Tuula. The smile that was so gingerly placed upon her brown-hued lips faded as quickly as it came. Her Master had turned away, even if slightly. Soon, the mare realized that her steed was scolding her rather naughty foal. A sigh of slight exasperation left her maw as she arched her neck up once more. She strained to look over Hannibal at the sulking foal.
Orpheus let out a disgruntled sort of whinny – if you could call it a whinny – when his father nipped him. However, the emotion he held towards his father faded as his brother spoke. Rolling his eyes in return, the smaller colt took a few steps forward, glancing around his parents. He stared his brother down with his eerie blue orbs for a moment, and then, he spoke, “And, do you have to act so old? Ugh, we aren’t even a year… and you’re already acting like this. Hmph, live a little!”
Tuula was busy nuzzling the crest of her eldest’s neck when Orpheus spoke. Her ears flattened; she’d been around these two their whole lives and seen many fights start out just like this one. And, she knew it would end with the two physically fighting. So, she stomped her hoof to get their attention. “Hush, both of you.” Her tone was harsh and demanding, and Orpheus obliged, though not without making a nipping gesture at his mother. He wasn’t close enough to get her, but if he was, he surely would have bitten into the mare. She had a few current wounds to show this. Yes, several times the mare had gotten a bite or kick from the rowdy foals – though normally it was Orpheus who had done the damage.
Glancing back up to the group, the mare held a composure like nothing had happened. Okay, she was a little embrassed, but she kept her cool. “What will we do for food? The food here is sparse,” she was certain Hannibal already knew this. Afterall, it was rather obvious that Tuula had suffered. She gave every bit of food she had to her suckling foals, and her ribs were starting to pertrude because of it. The only option they really had was to go to the unclaimables, but all the mares were either inpregnated or had foals at their side.[/color]

Listening to the two colts, Hannibal's ears flicked slightly. "Both of you stop your bickering, or I"ll end it." His words were filled with anger, as blue eyes went to Bolin then to Orpheus. Looking to Frasco and Desert Rose, the lead flicked his ears forward. "Frasco, because you were one the first ones to join me in these lands, I believe it is time I gave you a rank within this herd. If you accept, I wish for you to be Second in Command, free to choose who you breed with and having your own little band of mares within the main one. Though this honor is high, don't let the power get into your head. One mishap, and your position can be stripped from you in a heartbeat." His blue eyes narrowed, and darkened tail flicked slowly behind his large body. Turning his head to look at Tuula, another warm smile was placed upon his muzzle. "My dear Tuula. You have been a truely amazing mare, and I wouldn't want to have you any other way. That is why, before these horses, I ask you to be my mate, and the lead beside me." He wouldn't address the food situation just yet, but when all was done, then he would lead the little group to the grazing spot he had discovered hidden inside of the vast forest.
Beside Tuula, Bolin's eyes widened. His father was actually making their mother lead? Smirking, he glanced over at Orpheus, wondering if he had any sinister plot to be the only heir to the throne. He wasn't going to allow it, not when he was much bigger than his twin, and seemed to carry on after his own parents. Flicking his tail, the colt lifted his maw, nudging his mother's shoulder gently. "You know you want to say yes, Mother," he whispered to her, smiling faintly at the mare.

Caucasian pallet lifted at what his Lord had said. With a nod, he replied more enthusiastically than before. "Oh, yes. I accept." And just like that, he had his rank. He didn't feel any different, now that he was Beta. At least he could breed without having to ask first. An akward scene played in his head, thinking about how he would have asked his Alpha such a question.
Looking back at Hannibal, he wasn't quite sure what to do next. Maybe go find some vegetation? The water in the pond beside him was frozen at the edges, and no doubt would need a good stamp in the future, if he wanted to drink. His orbs kept wandering off to the two foals. The larger one seemed pleased at the thought of his mother being an Enchantress. It made sense. Maybe he'd inherit the thrown one day. If that was even on his mind at that age, he must've been one ambitious colt.

Orpheus’s ears were already back, but they almost seemed to flatten as his father scolded him and his brother. While he had made a nip at his mother, he did nothing to Hannibal. Sure, Orpheus was well-known for pushing his boundaries, even with his father. However, he could sense the anger in the stag’s voice and decided it best to listen this time.
Tuula glanced at her master as he spoke to Frasco. Her two-toned orbs shifted over at the Beta. Despite his recent activities, she thought he deserved the position. He had been loyal, afterall. Suddenly, she shifted her head towards Hannibal. Had he just asked her to be his mate? If a horse could blush, she certainly would be. Her lips quivered as if she was about to speak, but a nudge at her wither stopped her. And, she could not help but smile as she looked back over her shoulder to hear Bolin making his advice known. Turning her head once more, she stared at her lead once again. “I… I would be honored, Hannibal.”
After her words, the mare found her crown gently nestling beneath her mate’s own. And, after a gentle nuzzle she pulled back. She knew that there might be more that Hannibal needed to say, and she didn’t wish to disrupt the meeting with her emotion for too long. Plus, there would be alone time for them later… well, if she could keep the foals preoccupied with something else that is.
Speaking of the foals, Orpheus had a sly smirk on his face. He knew that this made his brother heir, and him… second in line. And, he definitely had plans to become the one and only.
