The word stems from the Japanese word meaning wise. The Chikao breed is the Wisdom Elemental of the Isola Dei Dei.[/center]

'Saggezza is approximately 400 acres, possibly more. Lush forests cover the south. Saggezza an island near the Time Land that only the Wise know how to step food upon. To the north, a tall mountian dubbed Luogo d'inontro [Meeting Place], where the herd meetings take place. This mountian is surrounded by plains. In the east, a lake called Stago Turchese [Turquoise Pond] is the main watering source. The west contians unknown land, yet unknown to the Wise.In the center of the island, the Sette Cave [Seven Caves] resides. The Sette Cave is the sleeping place of the land, each night, the lead runs throug hthe list of members to see that all are there. The Leads' caves is the largest, followed by the Betas', Warriors', Broods', Studs', Young Ones', and Unworthys/Prisoners'.'

A time now set apart, the herd suffered at the rise of the Zuden upon the Isles. At this time of greatest desperation, the lead perished. The Heir was born shortly after this time, and the Chikao, by ways of anciet tradition, acknowledged him as the new Lead. As the Wisdom knew of the past of the isles, they also knew of the future, the highest ranking whispering of things that rest would never comprehend. All could sense the coming darkness, and watched for their leader to come of age. When he was old enough, his powers manifested themselves as the true Lord. He spoke of an island he had seen in his dreams, and the rest listened, following him to what would be soon called Piazza Di Saggezza. The journey was long and arduous, many pershing. They called it the Grey March, so they would never forget.

|Personality|
The Chikao breed is usually classified as being very calm. The stoic breed is also known for its formality and kindess. Those of this breed are intelligent, loyal above much else, and loving. However, they are also known for their hot-headedness, a quick temper. One does not wish to anger a Chikao, for those who do, are never quite themselves again.
|Powers|
The horses of the Wisdom Herd have several unique powers. Your horses may have several of these powers, just not all. Or, if you do want them to have all, they will be extremely weak when used. Remember that the Wisdom Lord has every power, his being the strongest out of the ranks of the herd.
* Knows all about history, everything in the past.
[This also includes events all over the world, such as WWII.]
* Know how to heal, kill, and give life in many ways.
* Have knowledge of just about everything.
[This includes humans and that world.]
* Can communicate telepathically.
* Through their telepathy, pictures of events can be passed down.
* Are known to have visions of the future.
[Some equines in this herd actually know the future, but don't say anything about it, otherwise history on the isle may change and not lay out like it is supposed to.]
* Can learn to copy other Herd’s powers if exposed to them.

The Chikao Breed is of average build, though most tend to be a bit more heavy-set than other Elemental breeds. They are usually of broad forehead with large eyes, a convex profile with a long, arched neck. Deep but short body, with powerful rounded hindquarters and strong legs. Their manes and tails are usually very luxuriant.

Chikao are covered in elaborate swirl patterns. The can be anywhere on the body and in any pattern, as long as they are swirls. Chikao may have normal socks and blazes like 'normal' horses do. Only the Lord, Lady, and Heir may have gold swirls on their bodices.

Names have to do something with wisdom, knowledge, history, or any of the colours on the horse's body. I suggest using babyhold.com to search names. they have an advanced search where you can type in a word (such as wise) to find a name that means 'wisdom' or is closely related/has something to do to with it. That of course is just an example though.
