The smell of the sea breeze still lingered in the dark nostrils of the still somewhat young mare as she made her way past the trees into the vast clearing, letting the much closer, newer smells of the woods and the grass take over, though she was glad the somewhat salty smell still lingered somewhat in her nose. The sun’s rays just warmed up the dove’s back as she stood there, letting her hazel-green eyes take in the view around her…it was a lovely place here, perhaps she would be lucky and find a home…or at least a companion. Jesserene’s glossy, grulla peltage shimmered slightly in the sunlight, the breeze played with her silver-tinged brown tresses for a second. She finally decided to walk on a little further, give herself a more likelihood of running into another equine. Jesserene smiled at the thought of meeting someone new…she had to get him out of her head.
She quickened her pace a little and trotted to the shade of a large oak tree a hundred yards or so from where she’d entered the clearing from. She shook out her mane and looked around again, taking in a deep breath through her nostrils, bringing in a multitude of scents once again. The scents consisted of the woods, the grass and the sea…but she could also catch the different scents of mares and stallions…these seemed to be a sort of common grounds place…she was sure she could find someone here to at least travel with if nothing else, though she’d much rather settle down somewhere, once and for all. Jesserene flicked her tail and looked around once more, wondering who was around before lifting her tiara and letting out a neigh, calling out to anyone looking for conversation, for companionship of any sort actually…though the thought brought back memories of that one particular stallion, she knew that only by interacting with someone else would she get him out of her mind.

Carzeth You make me smile, please just stay for ahwile..
The ebony black Fresian stallion yearned to find new herd members. So far, he had 2. Halloween and Magic. If he wanted to fullfill his plans of having the largest herd on Isola, he needed more members. He needed an Omega mare, that's third in Command, and he wanted a tall, muscular looking mare to get the job done.
Soon, he stumbled upon a pretty mare. She looked tall, and well muscled, like a Thoroughbred. He smiled, and loped up to her. He bowed to her, and smirked. 'What is a beautiful doll like you doing in Belle Valle? Certainly you have a herd already...?' He said in his normal charming way. His face was covered by his massive forelock, which was natural to his breed.

Jesserene's nostrils flared as she inhaled deeply once again, catching two new scents on the breeze that blew gently. Her ears pricked alert, listening intently...both scents were unmistakably male...two stallions approaching. She sighed softly, this couldn't possibly have a very...peaceful ending. Her muscles tensed a little, just ready should she be in any danger for whatever reason...two stallions and a mare...never really the best combination in equines, no matter if they were all the same alliance or different alliances, though things would normally be much worse in the case that alliances differed.
Her left ear flicked at the sound of their voices, the second to speak somewhat replying to the first...Aro was it? Yes, that was the second stallion's name...hopefully the first would give his name as well. "I'm Jesserene...and no, I don't have a herd, but I would like one." she said, her green-hazel optics going from Aro to the unnamed stallion, and back once more as she spoke. She proceeded to waiting now, somewhat tense still, unsure of how the two equines before her would react to each other…hopefully everything remained calm. She’d rather not witness a fight, she had come to close to seeing enough, and actually seen enough, as it was.

Carzeth. She's a good girl, love's her mama.... The smell of sweat, blood, horseflesh, seasalt, and tension filled the large stag's nostrils. He ignored Aro as best as he could. So this was Quixtant's replacement? What a push over the colt was. He laughed in his mind and looked back to Jesserene. Right, mare, I almost forgot. I am Carzeth, lord of Terra De Scure. And We would love for you to be our Omega mare. Care to join me? He asked, nostrils quivering. He wanted her to come with him so he could get her away from Aro, in case he turned on them.
It's a beautiful land, just watch out for the snakes. He said honestly, now standing at her side. She was a pretty mare, no doubt, they'd cross well. He nudged her with the tip of his velvet muzzle. And I'm free, free fallin' ---- Carzeth

Jesserene had been flattered by the way the two stallions seemed to be…almost competing for her acceptance into their herd…she wasn’t sure what to do, actually. She looked from Carzeth to Aro and back again. They both seemed to be amazing, surely both worthy stallions for her, point blank. She sighed inwardly, wondering what she would do. Her ears flicked at Carzeth’s words…snakes? Jesserene almost cringed visibly at the thought…she’d had one too many close encounters with the legless creatures. The young mare could feel the tension in the air between the two stallions, and she rather didn’t like it.
She turned to face in Aro’s direction as he spoke, her green-hazel gaze settling on his façade. They were both lords, both stallions of high power…no wonder so much tension existed between the two equines. She shifted her weight a bit, suddenly feeling a little restless from standing still for so long. She lifted her back right leg on slightly, enough to rest it for a little bit before she would speak again, “It’s nice to meet both of you, Aro and Carzeth…and I thank you both for offering me a home.” She said, pausing a moment, wondering how to continue for a second, “But I need to know a little more about the lands…about just your herds in general before I decide where I go…if you’ll let the choice be mine.” She said, the last part coming out as the thought that they may battle over this came to her again.

Carzeth. Just stay with me, baby, let me shower in your lovely smile.. The dark black stallion tried his best to ignore Aro. He saw that the deer-like fae flinched when he said snakes. He laughed lightly, and smiled. No need to worry, m'dear. You see, they are harmless. Mostly gardners, a boa here and there, but we have had no accidents yet. And this is going on my second year leading the herd-It is around the 4th oldest herd on the isle. He said truthfully. It had beens o long since he had first claimed Scure...smiling to himself, he flinched a fly or two off his masculine shoulder. Boy, how much he had learned on leading a herd.'Watch yourself, stag' the younger stallion(maybe by a year or two, to Carzeth's seven)had said. He held in a laugh. Did this full-of-himself colt really figure he could shoo Carzeth off?
The masculine turned back to face the femine. She really was pretty, what with her light bay coat, shining like the leathery coats of a sunbathing seal. The sun had been kind to her, and she glowed like topaz. Like a sacred gem in this muddy old place. It often rained here, and you could see hoofprints making depressions in the wet turf. If you pulled up a few blades of grass with your teeth, the roots came up with it. Everything here was TO lush. The rain and drought did not even out here. His ears, like useful radars, picked up the delicate femine's voice.
My land is very nice. It is covered with mist in the morn, and the mist doesn't clear up until around three, so it makes it cool even when it is a very hot day. There is only one source of water, but it collects water very well, so there is water even in droughts. The grass is always hock high, but it is not to lush to give you lamintitis(founder). There is a thick forest which has lots of cool spots to go to, but that is where some of the boas live, but there easy to spot so no need to worry about that. There is a bowl shaped depression in the North side of the land where we go if a windstorm is happening, because it is so deep that the wind cannot reach down there. It may not be paradise, but it is very pretty with all the essentials. There are lots of things to discover, and the forest is so dense in some places it is full of grand hiding spots, or spots to go if you are foaling and wish to be in peace. In winter, it is very warm in the forest because the trees are packed tightly so no snow can really fit through. He said, trying to give the truth about his lands. He wasn't going to lie about his lands just to get a mare. If she didn't like the sounds of his lands, then so be it, but it would be grand for hima nd his herd if she would.

Jesserene’s ears pricked, alert and ready to listen to the descriptions of the stallions’ lands…she figured it would be easier to decide where she’d rather live upon hearing what her home would be like. Carzeth spoke first, and began by mentioning how the majority of the snakes were harmless, and that settled her nerves a little. He described his lands in great detail…she felt she could almost picture it completely. Yet Aro’s description was not as…complete…his simple sentence sounded nice, but she was more drawn to Carzeth’s lands.
“Both of your lands sound…inviting.” She started, looking from Carzeth to Aro and back, “But Carzeth’s draws most of my attention.” She finished before looking up at Aro, “Though I do hope you find more mares willing to follow you soon.” She finished with a smile. She was about to turn toward Carzeth once more before she spoke ago to Aro, “And I hope we may at least be friends.” She said hopefully, smiling at him kindly. She looked to Carzeth once more, “How far is it to your…our home?” she asked him as she took a step toward him.

Carzeth A little gamblin' is fun when your with me.. The charcoal painted stag nodded his crown at her decision. She had made a wise choice, and he smiled at the fact that his heram was growing again. Would it ever be as large as it had been? Hopefully. Two-toned orbs flicked from stag, to femme, before finnaly moving, his ligaments bending to allow flextion, helping the large stag to move. He was abit amazed at how cool and calm she was..but would the younger masculine handle it as easy? Carzeth felt as if he was an unstable ticking timebomb..he wanted out. Fast.
Close. He answered simply. His land was not far from Belle Valle, but not really close either. Close enough. However..we might not get there by night. If we leave now and gallop half way, we will, but if we take time to talk, we might have to set up camp half way. He said, giving her a more detailed response. He had learned in his seven years that mares liked details. They seemed to beckon to it. They like, the majority, literate stags.
He began trotting away, waiting to here the softness of Jesserene's hooves on the turf, which tickled his hocks as he trod along. Onward and upward, they where going.
