&&.Lynx Are We Human, or Are We Dancers?
Why am I here Again? Lynx thought as she walked quietly into Allevare territory, avoiding the scents of the breeding pairs that were close by. Her forest green orbs shifted every direction, keeping an eye out for any potential force-breeders that may be watching her weave through the trees. The branches were already getting small green stubs on them, signalling the start of the long awaited spring. And what else reminded her of the season change was her hormones. Yes, she was in heat once again. She clamped her banner tightly to her haunches, not making herself a easy target for any stags that wanted to leave their mark on her. She wouldn't mind being pregnant, its just who the father would be. She didn't want any random stud to come and place on in her barrel. No, she wanted at least someone from the herd to be here, that would decide to breed instead of 'saving' her from this place. After all, she came in by herself.
The vixen flared her delicate nares to search for a familiar scent of Liberta terra, and hoping it was a stallion. She swiveled her radars and stamped her pillar, pausing at the tree line to gaze out at the open meadow, where surprisingly no one occupied. She wouldn't want to stumble upon a pair and, er, disturb them. She giggled at the thought, shaking her mane and giving a soft snort.

The ebony stag cantered into Allevare Mettono. He wasn't really there looking for a mare to breed to, he was passing through on one of his daily runs. He really did hate intruding, but he wanted to a take a new route for his run today.
Lassan snorted and slowed when he neared a river. He bent his crown down and began to drink the cool liquid. When his thrist was quenched, he stuck his tiara in the air and tested it. Soon enough, he caught the scent of his homeland. He let out a whinny and went in the direction of the scent.
Lassan slowed when he saw the lovely Lynx up ahead. He whinnied and halted in front of her.

&&.Lynx Are We Human, Or Are We Dancers?
Lynx eboney form in the corner of her eye cantering about, and a whinny reached her pricked radars. And soon enough, the familiar face of Lassan was there, standing infront of her. The vixen swiveled her radars as a smile pulled at the edges of her maw. "Hello, Lord Lassan," she greeted, bobbing her crown briefly. Her dark leaf-green orbs blinked a few times, surprised to find the stallion here. Was he here to find a mare? Did he get curious and follow her? Or was he just coming through? Either one, she didn't really know.
She felt quite embarresed to be caught here by Lassan, her leader, and she felt like she'd get in trouble. I mean, what if she harbored a dark stallion's foal? What then? Would he shun her, or outcast her if she did? No, she thought, he wouldn't do that. But the question was, what would he do now? Take her home? Just chat? Yell at her? Or ----the one she half hoped for-- take advantage and breed her? She didn't want to overpopulate the herd, especially now that he might bring in more mares. That annoyed her a bit; he was sacrificing the health of his whole herd by adding more. She wouldn've undertood if he would of denied her being apart of the herd, she might've done the same if she was in that position. But oh well, she wasn't there anyways. She'd have to fatten up this year much more, then, incase they'd have to share it with more mares and foals.

The ghostly phantom had been watching Lassan, her past mate. The vixen followed them silently, invisable. A hiss came from her throat as she knew the intentions of the vixen. She warped around Lassan, by his side. A whisper in the wind blew into his ebony harks, "You'll regret this, dearly." the wind hissed in Lynx's auds, "Don't do it. He watched me die, he did nothing. He'll do the same." she whipped into Lassan, lashing her teeth as well. She knew that couldn't do any harm, but atleast cause him heaps of pain..

Lassan smiled at Lynx, not knowing what she was doign here. "Hello Lynx." he said, looking around. His optics then rested back on her. Lassan stamped a dagger and then asked "Why are you 'ere?" he asked, wondering why she left the land without asking him first.
Just then he felt a sharp pain. He swung around and saw Raine standing there. "You." he hissed, angrier everytime he saw her.

Lynx siweveled her radars shyly as he asked why she was here, looking to the damp earth under her pillars for a moment. She looked up again and parted her maw to begin to answer, but then froze. Wind hissed by her layed-back radars, warning her of Lassan. Watch her die? What was THAT all about?! She looked around wildly, pricking her ears for any sounds of movement. But none occured. Her attenchion was drawn back Lassan when he spoke angerily, and it seemed to be to thin air. And yet there was something, something there, she could feel it. The tempterature seemed to drop a little bit in that area, and in a certain section of her sight was a bit silvery. She looked towards it, her head tilted to the side in confusion and curiousity.

The ghost giggled a high-pitched bell-sound, and moved swiftly in front of her, appearing as her old self in front of Lynx. "Yes. He did. Watched me die when I had my foal. Yes. Watched. Me. Die." the form hissed, having a amused look in her pitch-black optics. No white was shone. "You may not of heard of me, but I'm the one who haunts you Lord." a smile appeared on her mug as she said haunted. "Mate with him and I'll do the same." she smirked, and appeared in front of Lassan. "My sweet lover, how is thou? Kibi is not doing well, I suppose... I miss her dearly. How dare you think of ME that way? She was my DAUGHTER. NOT SOME OTHER HORSE!!" she screeched, flinging herself at him. She was nose to nose. "Don't you dare bad-mouth me dear." Even after she had passed on, her love for him was strong. "Can't love someone who doesn't love you back." she whispered to him, infering to her. "Can't love someone who doesn't lov you back." she repeated.

&&.Lynx Are We Human, or Are We Dancers?
Lynx stared in surprised horror as a ghostly mare appeared, and most of her color was restored except for a silvery aura. She seemed to be cruelly amused by the fact that she died baring a foal, she and Masquerade's foal----so that's who the little fillies real mother is?---and now she haunted the stag for simply watching her as she breathed her last breath. Lynx was dumb-founded, no sound would come out of her throat. Mate with the stallion? That seemed to bring her attention back in the slightest way, enough for her eyes to stray to the stag and to now were the immortal mare stood to speak to him. Lynx hadn't truly planned to mate with him, she just came here to mate. Not with anyone too specific, just someone from the herd. And Lassan shows up. Coincidence, maybe?
She heard each word Raine spoke, including the words she kept repeating, "Can't love somebody that doesn't love you back. Lynx's auds went back and her head hung low, her orbs staring blankly at the ground, as if submissing to Raine. But after a moment, her tiara raised high and she looked squarely at Raine, her auds pricking. "No, you can't," she agreed, a slight bitter edge to her tone. "But love can grow, can't it?" With this she her voice softened again, and she looked to Lassan briefly before back to Raine. "You have no place here, phantom. You had your time, might as well leave Earth," she said.

The phantom snickered. "You have alot to lern, vix." She cirlced Lynx. "Six years? I don't think so. You have no place to tell a GHOST what to do." she snickered. She disipeared and reappeared behind Lassan. "I miss you. I wish I hadn't have gone. You needed a lesson, I suppose though. River said she missed you too... I have word." she snorted. "Lynx, you wouldn't." her black optics narrowed, teeth bared. She was in front of Lassan, there fore him not seeing her. "Now would you?" she asked sweetly, taking a step foward...

Lassan stood back and watched as the phantom spoke harshly to Lynx. "Raine." he said sternly. "Get out self out of here. You are unwanted and dead." Lassan's optics were cold, a rarity for him. "I missed you like 'ell until you came back an' started to haun' me. Now you're jus' a bloody nuissence that I can't seem to get ri' of. Much like a fly." He told her. It was the truth. Lassan looked to Lynx and said "Sorry"

[[Whoopsie. I wasn't thinking straight, and I figured it would be Lassan's. xB *shuffles off to edit*]] &&.Lynx Are We Human, Or Are We Dancers?
Lynx flattened her auds to the crest of her head, flaring delicate nostrils in an annoyed fashion. "Maybe I do have a lot to learn, but I do have a place. I'm alive, you are dead. It simple balance of nature that places me higher than you now," she growled smugly, grinning but her orbs hard as Raine began to speak to Lassan. A bit clingy, was she? After all, it was her fault that she died; she got herself pregnant with Masquerade, so Lynx heard. And then the phantom turned to her again. ""Try me," she answered curtly, pausing to let Lassan speak. "You really should go, then. The horse Gods won't welcome you if you stay much longer, so you'll just have to go to Hell. But whatever, you can stay. But what happens when Lassan is gone, dead? It would be too late to go to either realm by then, and you'd be stuck here forever. Would you want to waste it like that?" she added to Lassan's short speech, raising her eye-brows and pricking her auds slowly forward. She looked beyond Raine to Lassan who apologized. "It's fine, Lassan, I suppose. Some horses can get to clingy, can't they?" Lynx nodded to herself and picked her way around Raine to come at Lassan's side, smiling.

The vien's black optics became furious. "Well slut, wanna try me?!" she scowled. Her optics sad, she approached Lassan, "You could have prevented everything. Prevented me from going there, from breeding with him, from everything after you left me. You think of me tht way? Maybe I will go. I was waiting for the right time so I could apoligize, explain. You won't let me. After you got so many new members, yuo never came to see me. Look at our daughter. See what you've done? You could have prevented me from going up there, from leaving my daughter. And now I can never see any of my childrn again. Starr, Playboy, Kibi, Flame, any of them. You don't know about my previous foals, do you? You don t wanna know. You don't know how many nights I spent crying over them, over you]. And now you wnt me to go. I just don't want to see you with another. It tears me to shreds, Lassan. It hurts even more than getting your ear torn off, you anything. What do you think our Kibi thinks? When she see's her half brother and sisters running around, and them with their mothers to comfort them. What do you think she THINKS?" she backed away into the trees, to be gone from him. Forever. Or tleast, wha HE thinks...

Lassan was glad that the mare had gone. He glanced to Lynx and said "I'm sorry you had to deal with her Lynx. Itruely am." he then touched his maw to her own. "Let's hope she finds happiness somewhere, where ever she is."
