[~Flame~] Too young for such tragedy... The little filly woke up to find herself alone again for the second day of her life. A sob stuck in her throat. She was so tiny and so helpless. Her life had started off with tragedy and she had yet to recover from the shock of seeing her mother for the first time, dead. She should have been fawing all over her, offering her milk, and encouraging her to stand up. Yet she found herself alone, wet and cold with no one around. Salty tears dripped down her facade at the memory. Maw searched about for anyone, anywhere that could help her. Tiny harks twitched about atop her scullary. She lay curled up in the middle of an open field, gangly pillars tucked firmly beneath her. Baby fur pelt didn't do much in the way of keeping her warm. Without someone, she would surely die soon.

Lassan galloped through the land. He urgently had to find Flame, Raine's daughter. Lassan didn't know where the filly was, but he needed to find her so she could live. After he found Flame, he would have to find Venom and Polaris. Venom had said that she would take the responsibility of caring for Flame. If Venom kept that promise, Polaris would get another foal to play with.
Lassan slowed when he saw a tiny form several strides ahead of him. He carefully walked up to the little foal and looked her over. She seemed to be very cold. He smiled at her and touched his maw to her tiny neck. Without a word Lassan folded his legs up under him and went to lay down next to the filly, to try and keep her warm. As he got settled, he nudged her, telling her to come closer so she could stay warm.
He lifted his refined head and let out a long, loud call to Venom, calling her to come meet him and Flame.

The vix had been wondering around the land looking for something to do. She wasn't at all looking foward to another foal. Her milk producing was slowing. Her bag was getting smaller, but surely that would fill again when she starting nursing Flame. A call was sent to her. Silently, she glided to him. "Yes master?" she asked, almost a whisper. She was a very quite, delicate fae. Her small frame was tiny. All she had to her was long legs and height. She was still very small, even with her height. "Is this my new baby?" she asked, a whisper this time. Her voice was smooth. Like a bell. Her voice was carassing and calming, yet so like a young Filly's. A shy, young, filly....

Lassan
Lassan looked to Venom and Polaris as the came up. Lassan smiled at them and looked to Venom. "You don't have o call me master." he said. "But yes, this is Flame, Raine's filly." he said as he moved over a bit so Venom could see her. polaris was only three weeks old, so him and Flame weren't that far apart in age.
"Flame." he said as he nudged her. "This is Venom, your new mummy." he knew the filly was only teo days old. He doubted that she would remember Raine as she grew older. He was hoping that she would think of Venom as her 'mum' and not of Raine. Lassan looked to Venom who was standing very quietly in front of him.
*Polaris*
The little foal follwoed closely behind his mother, wondering what was going on. Polaris still had a lot to learn about speach, but he sort of got the hang of it. "What is going in? I mean on." he said correcting himself curious to where they were going.
Polaris hid behind his mother as she spoke to his 'father'. He peeked out from behind her at the little filly. He smiled. A new friend.

[~Flame~] Too young for such tragedy... The tiny filly blinked back as she made out a form that was steadily growing larger. Her mother?! Excitement filled her tiny bodice, but she sighed when she caught his scent and realized that it wasn't. Still he might be able to provide her something. Sure enough he had come to comfort and keep her warm. As his bodice wrapped around her tiny frame, she leaned back into him and nuzzled his massive foreleg. Dome curled on the ground and she barely reacted as he let out a buggle. Soon two more forms appeared in the distance. One a little larger than her, but he was still young, she could tell. The other had the scent of a mare, but to her disappointment, it was not her mother. Orbs welled up with tears as she realized that this must be the other foal's mom. She would never get to know her own... Sadness gripped her chest and she sighed, small nares flaring with the exertion of air from her lungs. The stag's vocals trickled into her harks and she grasped that he was telling her that the mare would be her new mother. She didn't know if she would ever completely accept her as her own, but any motherly form was an answer to her prayers. Dark occuli looked up at the mare and foal. An exasperated whuffle made its way from her kissers and she lay her dome back down on the ground, still wrapped in the stag's warmth.

The mare ignored his comment about master. She would do as she pleased. "Master, I'm pleased you asked me. But, it will be hard. With Polaris, I'll be bones again..." she looked down as she whispered. "Come here darling." she called to Polaris. "Look at your adopted sister." she whispered faintly. She was indeed a very quite fae. "My Master, may I ask who this 'Raine' was?" her whispered, courious question was quiter. "And why you are defensiv of her and her other daughter." came a even quiter whisper. "Excuse me, Master. I ahd no intentions of bothering you, but if it hurts... To answer.. You don't have to. I understand." Her hot pink optics looked to the foal. "Hello there, pretty little lady." she cooed softly....

"I'm sure you could get Indukala to help you out if you need it. I'm sure our lead warrior Night wouldn't mind helping you out either." he replied to her. The little girl desperatley needed a mother. Without one, she would die in the next two days or so. Lassan looked up to her as she asked who Raine was. Of course! He had forgotten that she had been in a cave with Polaris ans Saratoga during the whole ordeal, trying to keep Polaris alive. "Raine was ...... lets just say Raine is part of the past." he said calmly. "And, Venom, please please please don't call me master or lord or sir. I don't like it. I know you may feel like I deserve to be called that, but I don't, and even if I did deserve to be called that, I wouldn't want you to." he said with a small smile. "Just Lassan will do. And never call me Lassie." he added the last part with a roll of his optics remembering the little mare that used to call him that.
Lassan looked to Flame and said "Would you like to get up and meet your mum and 'brother'?"
*Polaris*
the little colt moved past his mother and up to Flame, looking down at her. He flicked his little banner and glanced to Lassan, a lopsided smile on the colt's face. "Hi." he said quietly to the fill. "I'm Polaris. Who are you?" he asked her, not knowing if she could talk or not. "want to be my friend?" he then sputtered out, looking to flame, then to Lassan and lastly his mother.

The fae looked down. "But I want to call you Master." came a insisting whisper. "Why not Lassie? I would think that was cute." she looked up. Backing up, she looked to Flame and walked silently to her. "Hello little lady. Hungry?" she whispered quietly. "I would thank them very much if they would." she smiled faintly at Polaris. "My Master, would you like to share our pasts, the recent and old?" she whispered quietly...[/color]

[~Flame~] Too young for such tragedy... Dome lifted at the stag’s words. She could understand that he wanted her to go and meet the two others, but she had yet to get up yet... Unusual for a foal, but she hadn’t had an adult to encourage and help her. Gaze shifted back to the stag and locked on his orbs. Her dark ones poured out love for him. His warmth felt great to her. Gangly pillars fumbled to stand, but she was weak. Tiny hooves slid along the ground and she fell over half a dozen times before finally managing to stand up straight. Pillars wobbled slightly, but she managed to take a few steps toward the mare and her son. He seemed excited to meet her and she returned a small smile. Kissers lightly tugging at her tearstained facade. Flame could not yet return his words, though she would learn soon to talk like him. Harks flicked about as the mare continued to converse with the stag.
