The liquid gold palomino mare galloped into the lands. She loved to run, it was one thing that made her forget about her injury. Sge let out a few joyus bucks as she thundered across the ground. She spotted his black form and a smile painted her face. She moved into a faster gallop, not knowing if she was toucing ground or not.She lifted hear head high. Yes a stargazer she was. The clouds rolled by and all she could do was let out a whinny, then laughter following. She directed her eyes back to him, He was close now so she decided to hit the brakes. Tucking her hindquarters she slid to a stop a few feet behind him. Standing straight she walked over. "hello Lassan" Swift said with a smile.

Lassan contently grazed. Today was one of those peaceful ones where the war seemed to halt for day. It was perfect. Of course this day would probably be the last 'peaceful'. His crown lifted as he heard hoof beats in the distance. His optics soon located the golden form of Swift. He stood there chewing as she neared him. He wasn't worried about her hitting him, he knew that she'd probably do one of her sliding stops. He never got how she learned to do that, or more importantly, how the humans tuaght her.
His assumption was correct, the godlen vix slid to a halt right in front of him, sending a could of dust around the pair. " 'Ello Swift." he said tapping his maw to hers. "How are you today ?"

"I am fantastic, what about you?" She asked with a grin. She was in a good mood for some odd reason today. Drum had jsut dissapeared and she had been looking for him, but all attempps had been unsuccesful. She needed a day off so this was a good day.

He smiled, glad that she was doing alright. "Same here." he said in reply to her question. Lassan then noticed her adopted foal wasn't with her. "Where's Drum?" he asked looking around. The foal was sure;y old eough to be away from Swift, but it was odd to see him away from her.

" I don't know. Been looking for him for a few days now..figured i was looking too hard, so im taking a short break" She said with a frown thinking about the colt.

Lassan nodded. "I'm sure he fine Swift, I mean he was on his own before you adopted him, yeah?" He knew she was concerned with her adopted colt, but he was growing up. He had to be the oldest foal in the land, which made him about eight months old. "So how has your day been going?" he asked, trying to get her to stop thinking about Drum.

He smiled. "Oh, my day has been fine so far. This whole war thing with the Darks is so tiring. I still need to find more herd members to be warriors, since we only have two."

Lassan smiled. He knew from the minute that he met the golden vix that she had a spirit that could not be broken. She was stubborn, always putting up a good fight. If he told her not to help no, she would just argue about it and do it any ways. "I knew you'd want to help, and I'm sure there's no talking you out of it." What he said was meant in a good way.
