Hey, hey Hey, hey
Come on, don't feel this way You're only gonna solve this for one day You wanna get high, and then complain Girl I only, think of you always And forever
Remember when you just came out? When everyone knew what you were all about You faked your death, and that was fun But girl, I think it's just begun Lifting her hooves up, forward and down could get boring after a while. Especially when your heart is empty. Nothing but the blood that flows through it.
Magic had gone through alot, and was surely going to get through this, but at the moment, she couldn't believe how she had felt previously. She was the one everyone called Goddess, and Leader. Now she was all but the one, lousy word. Magic. Without a tainted eye, all you would see when you looked at the vix was a tall Paint with blue eyes. Nothing much. Then there was the other side of her. Her history, and her current status, and most importantly, her future to come.
Lifting her banner, the Paint entered a small field. Taking in a deep breath of the air around her, she walked a few feet in, then came to a hault. Lowing her fine maw to the long grass, which wasn't too far from her chin, she began to graze, snatching the corse strands, and chewing them without an effort. She lifted her head, and let out a loud whinny to all the equine around her. Her word of defeat. She was basically telling all that she was up for sale. No longer a high ranked animal, but a poorly maintained horse up for sale, ready to be shipped to the slaughter house. Naw, that might have been little a dramatic, but she still had gone through much.
Then came the worst part. Waiting. There stood the 16 hand high paint mare, chewing a mouthful of emerald green grass, waiting to hear the hoovebeats of another equine, on the damp earth.

Carzeth trod into the lands. Long, ebony feathers swished and swayed, tied to heavy hooves and narrow legs. Muscles rippled under his flawless coat, long forelock covering his face, ears to his roman nose. Nostrils flared. Ears perked. Tassels danced behind him.
He saw a young looking fae, standing all alone. Now he had his chance. He arched his neck and jogged up to her, before stopping just ahead. Under his sleek foreloch he could see fair eyes, a splashed coat, and a fair face. She really was a jaw dropper, but nothing like his Goddess.
"The name is Carzeth. Ruler of Terra De Scure."
He said, standing straight and tall, like a leader. He waited for her response, eager to take her home.

As the words perposley slipped out of the black silk stag, Magic turned her bodice around, now facing the grim figure. She glared at him for a while, then turned her emotions off, like a television screen. He was Dark. She could tell by the way he spoke. So certain.
After she'd finished her mouthful of grass, the vix took a step forward, looked around, and walked around him, with flooding steps. Her tail almost skimmed him, but she made an effort to keep herself away from him. She wasn't going to be pushy. Picky? Yes, that was exactly what she would be. She would choose the right herd to join. Although she was a neutral, it might be fun to try Dark on for a while. She did have a gleam to the eye.
After a few breath taking moments, she was back infront of the brute, facing him once again. She spoke, words powerful, but feminine "Ah, yes. Carzeth." she said, testing out the words. "Magic is my one and only calling."

Large crown dipped in the smallest bit of respect for the colored one. She called herself Magic, oozing off her lips like honey. The reason this one caught her eye was simply because of her slim build, pretty features, and powerful stance. She looked like the picture perfect Beta Mare to him, but she had to prove herself worthy.
"Magic, eh? I see your parents must not have gone creative with the name. My land is a paradise, uniquie, spacey and grand. With more and more members my and my Goddess's lands grow stronger and stronger. Ready to go home?"
He spoke, trying to act sweet so she'd go with him. He wasn't in the mood to lose yet another mare. Her build and everything was perfect, good enough for him to breed to, but he vowed to Halloween she would be the only one. Maybe she would understand.
"Accept to come and you can live as Beta Mare."
He finished.

That was it. So simple. After he spoke his first words, she nodded, agreeing. Of course, if she'd been able to choose her name, she would have picked something with more thought.. Like Olimpia, or Aganighta. Right at that moment, she made a promise to herself that when she had her first foal, she would name it one of those two choices, although, the femme wasn't the best at keeping promises, now was she...
When the Friesian said something about his Goddess, she was slightly disapointed. She would have loved to gain her old position. Hmm, it might be fun to just try at getting that rank. Who knows? Maybe he would chose her. When he asked her if she was ready to gohome, it didn't seem like much of a question. She could definately tell that he was trying to butter her up. Hah, such a sad part for a Dark Lord to play. Shouldn't he be choosy?
Guess not. "Accept to come and you can live as Beta Mare." he had said. Not Lead Mare, but it was something she could work with. Flicking her thick banner, she breathed a few deep breaths, and took two steps closer to the stag. Once she accepted, she would have to think of him as Leader, and Alpha. Humph. Not a good thing, but she would deal with it. "Fine." she said, voice sounding like a chime in the wind.

Carzeth nodded. Finally, he had another member. He wondred if Halloween had gone looking for Karma, the mare that had ran away from his lands not long ago. Happy he got another member, he turned on his heels.
"Well, c'mon." He spoke, eager to show this one to Halloween. She would be great.
After a short trot, they arrived at Terra De Scure. Carzeth arched his powerful neck and turned to look at Magic. He hoped she liked it, because he couldn't afford another running off.
"Enjoy..Halloween should be here shortly."
He said, and began walking into the morning fog. It was very thick, but Carzeth's dark coat stood out. It was always easy to spot him, except at night, where he hid in the dark.
He called out for his dear mate, hoping she'd come soon.

And come she did. From the dense, rolling fog, the outline of the mare appeared. Soon, her whole body was standing before the two, her head proudly raised. Nostrils flared, catching the scent of the other mare with Carzeth, and a smirk flitted across her maw.
Another one, I see. She better not run off like Karma had. The little witch is no where to be found. Its like she just ... vanished. Not knowing where Karma added to her bitter mood. What had ticked her off while Carzeth was gone, the world may never know, but she wasn't a happy horse. Ears swiveled back, brown eyes resting on Magic, nostrils quivering slightly. And who might this be, Carzeth? A forehoof scraped along the ground, a shallow imprint gouged into the earth. The fog lapped around the dark bay Arabian's legs, like it was water in a creek or lake. Tail sidled up over her hindquarters, as boredom was slowly starting to settle in.[/blockquote]

No, no fear. Destanation darkness. No fear, no fear. Destanation darkness!
Carzeth smiled. Halloween had come very quickly, as if out of no where. She looked pissed off, but Carzeth was, to. He sighed and looked at his Goddes, then back to Magic.
"This, my love, is Magic. Found here in Belle Valle." He said simply, as if it didn't really matter. He looked over the mare's fine body, and smiled.
"For now she has no ranking, but that might change if she doesn't try to run off." He said, watching Magic the whole time, like he was talking to her.
His long, black forelock covered all of his face, as always, but underneath, his eyes where dark with anger. Karma had no right to go running off.
"We will find her, Hallo, and when we do, I have in mind of her being a slave, or we could turn her over the the new guy, Burn, in Terra De Mafia, and have him push her over Exile Cliff. Sound good, my Hallo, in punishment for the belle?"
He said, ignoring Magic for a few moments. They would find Karma, and from the day they did and on, her life would be a living hell, reminder for all that Carzeth is no push over. He means buissness.
"Magic. If you ever come across a white mare, black spots, kind of stocky, that's her. No other horse looks like her, she stands out. Easy to spot. You see her, you have full permission to bring her to me or Halloween."
He spoke directly to the new fae, whom he seemed to throw all his trust into a bit early. But, after all this talk of slaves, torture, and pushing off cliffs just might have scared her into behaving.

The large paint vix trundled shortly after her master, taking her time to check this place out. She made an effort to put unique scene's in her mind, and use them as landmarks if she ever got lost, or possibly ran away. It was obvious when they entered Terra De Scure. There was a sudden change in the way everything looked. No surprise there.
Minutes after Carzeth had called his partner, she came, graceful body in full view. His attention seemed to shift over to the mare infront of her. Pity, it was. Raising her muzzle, she flicked her tail, taking in the bay Arabian's scent.
It was awful. The mare standing a few meters away would actually be leading her. Such a joke. Shaking her fine head, she revealed her other hidden, deep blue eye. It wasn't the usual bright blue that a foal would have, it was different. Matured? Hmm, well, it certainly wasn't the normal orb you'd see placed upon a mare.
Giving a small nod of the head, she rearranged her canvas, making herself confortable for this long, endless, chat. She looked around, bored, but when her Lord's words came out saying she had no rank, she turned her head, orbs, flushing almost a darker shade. Lying was a thing she should expect, but sadly she hadn't caught him in action. If she had, it was obvious, would have turned herself the other way, and galloped off. She was a pretty speedy mare when it came to racing. At least, that was her opinion.
Listening to Carzeth give Karma's discription, she gave a nod, in understanding, and finally spoke her first words, making them sound as if they were going towards the posh poney called Halloween. "Of course, my Lord. All shall be taken into consideration." she said, moving her liquid orbs in the black stag's direction.

Already, Halloween didn't take a liking to Magic. Maybe it was how she carried herself, or how she seemed to ... who knows. She just didn't like her. Narrowing her eyes even more, the lead mare flared her nostrils, listening to Carzeth's and Magic's words. Boredom was sure to set in with this boring talk, and Halloween was such a high-strung creature, she couldn't stand around for long.
Better to make her your slave than to hand her over to another stallion. That would only make his herd stronger than your own, and every horse counts right now. Her words were true, Carzeth couldn't afford losing horses to rival stallions. Halloween didn't honestly believe in alliances between horses. You had to pull your own weight, and make sure your own skin, as well as your herd's, was alright. Caring about any other herds and their members was getting a bit too Light for the Dark mare's blood.[/blockquote]

Carzeth sighed, and nodded. If only he knew where she was. She had disapeared, no sign on her at all. He looked toward his lady, and saw disapointment and boredom on her face.
"It is not an alliance, Halloween, I have known Burn for a long time. Pushing her over a cliff wouldn't give him members, it would kill her, and right now, I want her-Dead or alive. Right, anyways, to other affairs. Magic, you may go do as you please..but if you run off I'll have a price on your head."
He began walked off into the fog, hoping Halloween would follow. He wanted to talk to her about something.

Smirking at her Lord's comment, she merely nodded. Flicking her ears, she turned her head to look at Magic, a look as if saying Haha. Letting her dark tail sway behind her petite body, the Goddess turned, following after the Friesian she called her mate. Ears flicked, as nostrils flared ever so slightly.
What is it, love? The term was used so loosely, however, she did have feelings for her mate. Love wouldn't describe it, no word possibly could describe what she felt for Carzeth.[/blockquote]

With a snort, the paint mustang tossed her fine head, and trotted off. She was deeply irritated with her Lead Mare. For a moment she unsure if she had actually made the right choice in joining this herd. She guessed she would be unsure alot, while living here.
The mare was such a beast! She was deffinately going to do something about that. Her thoughts got to work on what she would do. A few things went a little over-board, but at the end of it all, she thought she had a good idea.
Then the vix noticed that she had been going in no certain direction, and had gotten herself going towards a large, fallen tree trunk. Good thing she'd stopped with her silly day dreams. Focusing, her muscles bunched up, and her legs tucked in, as she cleared the maple perfectly. It brightened her aditude slightly, but not nearly enough to stop her crazy thoughts from roaming wildy.

The fresian listened to his mares words. He felt so much for her, but sometimes he was irratated. Now was the time. They where so low in numbers right now there was no time to play around. No time to hate the new horse. HIs 'Lady' needed to know this.
"Halloween, you know I love you and will never leave you for anyone else, right? Right now numbers are low and I need you to atleast try and befriend the others."
He spoke, and nuzzled her soft muzzle. He couldn't stay upset with her. She was fine with her body and perfect with her eyes and muzzle. He hoped she wouldn't be mad at him.
He watched Magic clear the log. Maybe she had been a showjumper in her past life? She sure was pretty, though. But she, to, seemed upset with Halloween. Who knew what she thought inside her head?

Hearing Carzeth's words, the mare flicked her ears slightly. Turning her head, she glanced back at Magic, then looked at Carzeth once more.
I only 'befriend' others, when I feel like they ought to be my friend. This mare, Magic, does not respect me, so why should I try to be friends with her? Her brown eyes narrowed, and nostrils quivered slightly. She was no push-over, and she would let Magic know that if she had to. Darkened tail swayed behind her, swatting at nothing in particular as she stood there, muscles locked, staring at him.[/blockquote]
