Elegance was something that came naturally to the neutral mare, Mage. Her penny colored coat shone under the some-what cloudy skies, whenever the sun was peaking through. Ears flicked foward, listening to all the different sounds of the place, and her nostrils flared. Oh, what a delightful sight. No one around. Sighing, she lowered her maw to the ground, snipping a few blades of grass off. Chewing them ever so slowly, she turned her head, glancing behind her. No one still. How /odd/. Shaking her head, her forelock fell in between her ears, down onto the blaze that ran the length of her face.
Seriously, there was NO ONE here? There had to be /someone/. Tail swished around her hind legs, and she was tempted to lay down. But, not when something could ambush her. Head lowered again, this time to pull more grass from the dirt. Hunger drove its way through her stomach, and she realized how hungry she really was. And thirsty. Deep brown eyes looked around, wondering if there was water around. Eh, she wouldn't go searching for it. The pretty Arabian lowered her head once more, eating the grass again.

Ebon hellion's harks twitched at the sound of the new equine making its enterance, onyx orbs suddenly becoming more alert. He inhaled deeply, bringing the scent to him. Ahh, a new dove. A smile played about his maw as he picked up a lofty two beat, bringing himself out of the shadowed forest and into the grassy clearing where he knew she would be waiting. As he came over the hill he saw her then, and was immediately drawn to her color, shimmering as it was peneath the patches of sunlight. He whickered then, a slow, inviting sound, as he made his way down to her, slowing to a walk. He was at her side quickly, however, thanks to his lengthy strides, and at this much closer proximity he could now tell more about her, simply from looking. An Arabian, no doubt, one of excellent breeding. And now that he was so close, her scent was intoxicating, almost overpowering.
It took him a moment or so to regain his composure, and to take his gaze away from her bodice, so perfectly crafted. He cleared his throat, not wanting to seem threatening, but enjoying the closeness to her immensely. He could feel the heat radiating from her pelt, and for that reason, did not move away from her as he spoke directly to her, his soft, heavily accented voice like velvet. Greetings, lass. I am Kijken, king of the Terra del Canyon Nascosto. He paused, looking now to her soft amber optics. Might I have your name in return for my own? He asked, still smiling that charming smile he knew he was all too good at.
ooc- yeah, i know its slightly a recycled post. next one won't be, though. no time now..

Flicking her ears slightly, she brought her head from where she was grazing. Who was this stallion? Nostrils quivered, and deep brown eyes looked at the stallion. "Kijken, eh? Well, sir, I am Mage." Tail swished over her hing legs, as she stood there, watching this stallion. A lead stallion at that, eh? Interesting. Her muscles twitched, as she side-stepped, and turned so that she was facing him. Her eyes watched him, maybe even drifting over the stallion to see how well he was built. Of course he was. A Friesian was well built.
Neck arched, and she shook her head slightly. Mage wasn't one for talking much, quiet was more her style. As she stood there, the Arabian flared her nostrils again, his scent overwhelming her. [ x ] M A G E

mage.. he repeated the name to himself as he let his eyes take in her form once again. it suited her, he decided with a small smile. he watched humorously as she danced lithely away from him, no doubt so that she could survey him at a better angle. he chuckled softly, not minding in the least being sized up, knowng that without even trying, it would be impossible for his stature to disappoint her. he moved as well then, muscles rippling beneath his silken hide, banner drifting ever so lightly along the ground behind him as took two steps toward her, outstretching his neck and brushing his muzzle lightly upon her crimson shoulder - a sign of claimance to all other studs who may be lurking nearby. but, like the others he had claimed, he would leave the final decision of whether or not she wished to actually join his herd up to the mare herself. its a pleasure to make your aquaintance, mage, my love, he said, backing a step or so away from her as to meet her gaze more easily as he spoke. if you would so prefer, we could continue our conversation back in my homelands..? his voice trailed off as he awaited her reply, his orbs once again drinking in the sight of her greedily.

Head tilted sideways slightly, and Mage flicked her ears toward the stallion. She didn't mind if they headed back to his home, of course, he had claimed her, hadn't he? Nostrils flared slightly, and she bobbed her head up and down. "I guess we can head over to where you reside with your herd, if you have one."
Had he called her my love? Eyes narrowed eve so slightly, and she shook her head, not going to worry about it. Her forehoof struck the ground slightly, waiting for him to turn and lead the way back to Terra del Canyon Nascosto. Forelock fell to the side of her face, shielding one of her brown eyes from veiwing him. Kijken sure was an interesting stallion. Mage was always used to the other Arabians she had grown up around. Tail slapped her rump slightly, as she took a few cautious steps forward, her muzzle touching the stallion's neck gently.[/blockquote] [ x ] M A G E

She had been watching the fae and her stag suitor for a while now. It appeared the stag had disappeared for the time being, and Fiana would take the opportunity granted by his absence. "Essa, it appears your friend has deserted you," she would make it sound like he wasn't going to come back, as if she knew this for fact. This ebony wasn't too frightened by this particular stag, her herd was a bit larger than his now, and with her alliance, she was guaranteed a win if he should prupose conflict over her attempting to steal away his mare. However, to ensure this win, the ebony would have to make a definite claim on the femme. "It is truly too bad."
She mauled over her words as she paced outside of the shadows granted from the surrounding trees. "I suggest," she circled the mare as she once more thought. The ebony was examining the femora, making sure that she was fit to join her herd. Indeed, she was. "you join me, to Terra de Rocas. Our numbers are greater than the herd of that stag, and I would never leave you unaccompanied in the dangers of this world. You are but one fae, you need the protection of a herd... my herd."
OoC;; Sorry it is a bit crappy, I have no muse.

Seriously, a new horse? Ears tilted back, as the penny colored Arabian snorted. Nostrils flared, as brown eyes watched this new equine. Another mare. And she had a herd? Ears tilted forward now, and she smirked. "And why should I join your herd? Seriously, do not think I will simply join your herd just because you suggest it." Yep, as you could probably see, Mage was a firey little mare when it came down to it. Tail slapped along her hindlegs, and she snorted. Eyes looked around, wondering where Kijken had disappeared off to. That was strange in deed. She never thought a stallion would desert a mare like that. Oh well, if there was a prospect of a new home, then she would go with anyone, except for some lowly Dark. Brown eyes rested upon the mare once again, and her ears flicked slightly.[/blockquote]

The fae merely grinned to herself, though it was covered by her dark lips. "Fine, my copper friend, enjoy the life out here..." The ebony started to stealth herself back in to the forest around, her tail held high, her scent lingering as a sort of lure in case the penny toned mare decided she needed the home. The ebony knew she would come around, afterall, not many fae would stay out in the wilderness too long alone. She paused in step for one moment, "oh yes, watch out, there is a mountain lion in the area." That was no lie, the ebony had spotted one stalking about not too long ago in her trip, though it was a good fortune to say too, offering assurance for the arab to follow this ebony. The ebony was in a hurry, so she certainly hoped she had caught the mare's attention, her herd needed the numbers as desperately as the mare would need the safety of those numbers.

Smirking, she flicked her penny colored tail behind her, and stomped a forehoof. "You always leave horses behind? Some lead you are," the mare tested the waters, seeing how this mare reacts. She side-stepped, her neck arched, as she looked around her. A mountain lion? This surely would be interesting if she encountered it. Tail swished behind her again, and she flared her nostrils slightly. Boy, was this intersting.

"I'm sorry," she mocked, turning around, her brown opts examining the arabian from the shadows; oddly, she found this rather amusing. She didn't expect respect from this female, so she would humor her, for now. Though, if it got to far, she was more than ready to put the mare in place. She didn't think it would come to that, and she didn't wish it to if it didn't have to. This mare may seem a bit stern but she was not ruthlessly cruel, she was no tyrant.
As she stepped from the shadows, her ears were up, her chest out and crest arched nicely, her maw opening to continue her statement. "But, femora, you aren't mine now are you? You showed no interest, so why should I stay with you? I only have commitments to stay with those who pledge their loyalty to the herd."

"Alas, ma - ... miss, I do not have any loyalties to anyone. Maybe someday they will be there." Eyes narrowed, and her tail flicked slowly behind her once again. Seemed to do that a lot, actually. Ears flicked, hearing the rustle of the branches above because of the wind. Shaking her head, the mare decided against any further back talk. "If you need members, I am willing to be in your herd." She was going to add on to that, but she decided against it.[/blockquote]

"I thought that might be your choice," a sly grin tugged upon her ebony lips. "You shall not regret this, my copper fae; my herd is growing greater by the day." She started on her path again, ears twitching as the wind rustled the trees around them. "There is a storm in the air, follow me back to our home."
OoC;; This will probably be my last post tonight, my muse is low.

mage_____. i know why you're grouping with me, you think you can some water out of me, do i look like a vending machine? no, i'm a fireballin' m-a-g-e Shaking her head slightly, Mage followed after the mare. This surely was going to be interesting. Ears flicked as she walked, each hoof placed carefully on the ground. She was cautious in these new lands, especially since she did not know what lurked behind each tree.
{ooc.___+} Post back in Terra de Rocas? At the herd meeting thread?
