Raine closed her eyes, and moved her daggers, trying to raise. She gave a nicker, asking for him to help. Finally, with the last of her stength, she managed to raise up, and get it breathing. Guiding it with her muzzle, it found her teats, and started to suckle. Raine's head hung low, her muzzle almost touching the ground, her eyes were closed, her breathing was so shallow, you could hardly see or hear her.

Lassan pushed on her neck to help her up. Once she was up she went over to the filly and got it breathing. The filly stood up and found Raine's teats. Raine's head hung, almost to the ground. She looked as if she wasn't breathing at all. Lassan walked closer to her and nudged her. Something seemed wrong. "Are you alright Raine?" He asked looking her over a few more times.

Raine let the little filly suckle for almost half an hour, then leaned on Lassan, just a little, for support. The little filly followed her mother, and went under her legs and peered at Lassan suspicially.

Lassan stayed silent for a while as Raine leaned on him and the little filly suckled. "What are we going to name her?" He asked as the little filly started to move around Raine and glare at Lassan.

Raine murmered "Can I please rest....." was all she said, she was so tired, and her body was aching.... The little filly yawned and nudged Lassan couriously. She peered at him, and then to her mother. Was this her father? she wondered. Just for a moment, she stood away from Raine, on the other side of Lassan, then raced back under her mother's legs.

Lassan nodded and guided her over to a patch of long grass protected by a small grove of trees. He moved and waited for her to lie down. He watched the little odd coloured filly as she scurried around the two of them, running back under Raine's belly. Lassan looked ot the little filly hoping that she would lay down next to her mother. He touched his nose to the filly's. When Raine woke up, they would think of a name for her.

Raine layed down, exhasted. Soon, she fell into a sleep, no dreams nothing bad at all.... ***************The Little Filly***************{you can choose a name, I have really nothing.....} The Little Filly layed down beside her mother, being a good little filly and fell asleep in front of her mother.

-- how about Sparrow for her?----
Lassan watched the two as they fell asleep. He sighed and looked up to the now darkening sky. he was awfully tired. He moved closer to them and layed down. He fell asleep and had a dreamless sleep. The next morning he woke up and began to graze waiting for her to wake up.

{Ummm..... I'm thinking...} How about Kibitala or Pools Of Blood? The little filly woke up sleepily... And looked at her mother, still asleep, and nudged her. Raine poked her head up sleepily...........

-- if her name was Pools Of Blood what would she be called? I like it, I just wanna know. I like Kibitala too. What do you think about Raven for a name?---
Lassan sensed that the two were awake. He lifted his head from the sweet grass and looked to them. The filly was standing up nudging her mother. Raine lifted her head and looked to the little filly. Lassan still watched from a distance. He moved a bit closer and bobbed his head. He stopped when he got to them. "I see you two are awake." He glanced to the odd coloured filly as she bounded around Raine. Raine was still laying there, slightly lifting her head. Lassan put his muzzle down and touched her own, hoping for her to get up.

***Blood? I think Kibitala would be good, I made that one up a while back.*** Raine sniffed and staggered up beside Lassan. The little filly squealed and started to suckle underneath Raine. Raine nodded "Now, about her name....." The filly looked up with her big filly eyes at her father and nickered, it sounded like a squeak!

-- okay lets do Kibitala -----
Lassan moved back as Raine got to her feet. The little filly jumped, squealed and ran under Raine to find her teats. Lassan watched the foal silently for a minute or so before looking to Raine agian. His audits flicked as Raine spoke. What would be a good name for her? Lassan thought and thought and nothing could come to mind. He had never named a foal before, their mothers had always named them. "I dunno what we should name her. You got any good names picked out yet?" What name would suit the little girl? He just didn't know.

Raine thought hard for a moment, you could tell by the way she twisted her head. Thinking of nothing yet, she spoke, "Pick a name....." and she started to think again. *******The Filly********** The filly looked at her mother after she was finished, then to her father. She ran under his legs and back under her mother's.

Lassan watched as the filly scurried under Raine and his legs. He smiled a bit. His head came up when she asked him to pick a name. He thought and thought and thought. Finally he came up with something. "What do you think of Kibitala?"

Raine raised her head, "It's perfect!" she exclaimed happily. "Kibitala, our dream..." she spoke softly. Then she realized, Artava, River... Lassan had covered not just her, but two other mares... Her ears layed back, she shook her head and stepped back, her head down. ----------Kibitala--------------- Kibitala looked to her mother, what was wrong? Of course, she followed her mother, her little fuzz of a tail swishing. Her deep purple gaze switched from her mother to her father, which she nickered to again. {Same here.}
