"Alright." He said galncing around through the rain. It had been a while since he had been in Belle Valle. His orbs darted around. He remembered a very open cave in one of the cliff sides not far from where they were now. "Follow me." he said as he led her towards the cliff wall. They walked along it for a minute before the cave openning came into their veiws. "In here we will be safe from rain. The cave enterance is very open and lets a lot of light in." He stepped inside and the whole cave could be seen since the mouth was so large. Mind you this cane was not big atall. Just big enough for maybetwo or three equine. Grass was growing on the floor since light reached it.

Having followed him, Malifex shook her already soaken head, the water streaming down from her forelock down to her nose. "Eugh. Nasty weather," she muttered, then walked into the cavern, standing close to the wall. Snuffling slightly, she lowered herself down onto her knees, then lay down so that she could rest. Her breathing slowed a bit, as she lay there, her eyes half shut. "Rain, rain. Go away. Come again, another day." She mumbled, the smiled. It was almost a maniac smile. Ears flicked, as she turned her head to look at Lassan, then turned the brown colored eyes to the rain that as pelting the world outside of the cave.

He watched as she went to lay down by the cave wall. He could tell she was probably gpong to fall asleep. He heard her mutter something and then look at him. He smileda bit at her an then went to lay down where he was standing. A rest would do him good. He hadn't slept fotwo whole days. He sighed and layed his had down wondering how long this storm would last. Maybe whn it ended, he would ask her to come join his herd. Hopefully she would accept.

The thunder was lulling the painted mare to sleep, her eyelids slowly closing as each rumble shot through the air. Finally, sleep had won, and the mare lay there, still as can be except for her sides moving. Dreams did not attack Malifex's mind, as she did not dream often. It was weird, usually one would dream every night, but Malifex ... dreams did not just appear. Something that her grandmother had said back in her herd reminded Malifex about the dreams. "Malifex. You are destined to do great things. Being dreamless, that is a gift. Use it wisely whenever a dream may come. They might just be telling you something." The mare sighed in her sleep, quite aware that no dreams were going to appear.

Lassan watched the mare as she drifted off to sleep. He glanced back outside for a while, just thinking about nothing certian. He heaved a sigh and closed his dark chocolate orbs. His auds flicked slightly, still searching for signs of danger. He began to drift to sleep, e triend to stay awake but failed. A few hours later her awaoke to a very loud crack of thuinder. The rain was still comming down. He knew that this storm was going to last for a few days. He got up and walked around the cave a bit, munching on the grass that grew on the ground. He looked to the still sleeping Malifex. Since the rain was going to last for days, he decided when she woke up that he would ask her to join his herd. They would have to make it there in the rain since he needed to be back to help oversee his herd.

A clap of thunder caused Malifex's eyes to bolt open. She shook her head, quite disorientated, then snorted, realizing where she was. Pushing herself up, she shook her head, forelock falling in between her eyes once again. "Still raining, I see," she mumbled to herself, and flicked her tail behind her. Eyes went over to Lassan, who, much to her amazement, stayed beside her the whole time. That was something new. "You don't have to stay here. I know you have a herd to take care of," she said, bobbing her head as she spoke. A forehoof struck the cavern floor, sending small sparks flying up. This caused Malifex to stumble back a few feet, her ears drawn to her head.

Lassan glanced over to her as he heard her get up and her lyrics. "Yes it is. This storm will surely last a few days." He sighed and looked around. He was going to ask her now. He opened his maw to speak when his breath was drawn short by the melody of Malifex's lyrics. "Yes I do have a herd to get back to. Would you care to join me?" he asked her.

The painted mare flicked her ears forward, listening to the pitter patter of the rain outside of the cave. Tail flicked behind her, and she let her nostrils flare, taking in the scent of the liquid pouring from the dark clouds above. Would she like to join Lassan in his herd? "Hm. I don't know. I don't really like wandering with herds that much," her words were almost drowned out by the thunder that instantly roared. Taking a step back, her ears tilted back against her head.
"Well, I guess I can," she said, nodding slightly and walking over to where Lassan stood. This would be really interesting, being in a herd yet again. Tail swished behind her, dry from their stay within the small cave.

He heard her say that she really didn't like wandering with herds that much. He wondered if she ment wandering as in wandering around the isle or just wandering around the herd's land. He hoped it was the first one. A loud kaboom of thunder rolled across the land. He looked to her and said. "Well follow me." He was certianly glad that she had agreed to join his herd. He needed all the members that he could get. He stepped out of the caver, the rain instantly wetting his already damp coat. He sighed and kept his head lower. He picked upp a slow jog in the direction of Terra Delle Liberta.
