Okay, the reason it's been months since Ive logged on is because, as some of you know, I moved from Canada to Great Britain. Last year or so I rode in Great Britain for the BSJA.
In Canada, you can only get your olympic liscense thingy when you turn 18, unless you get it in another country, so I rode in England in hopes to earn enough points to compete in Grand Prix where I would be able to become liscensed. My horse got injured half way through the season so we did not get enough points and we had to go back to Canada.
I really loved England when I was there. Much more then I thought I would, and I have a lot of ties to elite equestrian farms there. I talked it over with my parents, and I moved from that small old Canadian town to ten miles away from London with my grandma, which is about 5 miles from the barn I rode at when I was there. And yes, I took Jinx, my mount, with me. It was very expensive which is also a reason I wasnt on-I was raising money for the move.
I can't promise I'll be more active, in fact, I'll be busier then ever before. I am 17 and could easily compete Grand Prix by next year and hopefully by the time I am 19 or 20 be on the road to the Olympic team. Jinx is def. a GP horse, he is only seven and we are already soaring through Mini Prix. The horse I rode when I was in Great Britain before, Bear, is also amazing. When we rode we where the top 15 best horse and rider team in the Junior section of the BSJA.
Bear is a Irish Sporthorse and can jump a 5'6 course with a rider. Jinx is still green, but can jump a 5 foot course and is increasing height. I could ride them both in GP so I pretty much have two set GP mounts. Wish me luck!
Lol, anyways, sorry for being inactive. I'll do my best to stay active and post atleast everytime I log in.
