[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000000]Too many times had Revenant seen mares toy with a stallion's heart, to just destroy him in the end. To build up something, just to walk out and leave him cold and wondering. But, Catalyst seemed different. The ivory lead truly believed that this copper colored mare wouldn't do what so many mares did when a stallion showed her attention. Would she prove him wrong in the long run? Would the isle's reputation of failed partnerships catch up to them? Shaking his head slightly, he breathed cold air against her neck once more, feeling the goosebumps rise up from her soft skin. This caused the smile upon his lips to widen, and he closed his eyes as her presence next to him comforted him.
Moonlight had begun shimmering down upon the pair, small stars appearing within the skies above. The dark horses surely would be surrounding them within the shadows sooner or later, but frankly, the off-white horse didn't believe they would bother him or Catalyst. Not unless they wanted to deal with an angry horse. Ears danced atop his head, and he drew his head away from the mare's neck. An ear tilted toward her, as Catalyst whispered to him. She... loved him? Heart skipped a beat or two, and he smiled. She loved him. But, did he have those feelings in return? Was he really in love with the pretty chestnut mare, or was he merely under the effect of the heat scent radiating from her?
Golden-green eyes blinked, and he took a step back, ears falling back toward his skull. Nostrils flared, as he tried his hardest to find the words to say. Catalyst. It wasn't love at first sight, but over the time I've known you... I have grown to love everything about you. Boy, was that cheesy. As he spoke those words over in his mind once more, he mentally kicked himself. So much for being such a wordsmith. Eyes stared at the mare's azure orbs, blinking slightly as he tried to regather his composure.

[/color] - i have loved you for a thousand years... === - It was crazy. really it was, with how fast she had fallen for his handsome ivory lead. some would call it stupid, after all it had been such a short span of time since they'd first found each other in that blizzard. how could one learn all that they needed to know about someone to fall in love with them in that time frame. others would just shake their crowns in pity, claiming they both were under the influence of the season and once it was over they'd wake up in regret. still others, those who knew what was happening, would lend their congratulations to the new couple, wishing them a new happy and loving life together... love was such a tricky thing here on this island it seemed. faes played with brujos and then left them in the dust, demons came up from the shadows and stole the innocence of unsuspecting maidens. it seemed so hard to find something real here now, amongst the cruel games others played. but catalyst was not like that, she never would be either. she had never before felt the loving caress of a male, or found herself living on a heart and soul she was merely borrowing now. even now there seemed to be no guarantee that he would return her feelings, but his lyrics from earlier gave her some hope that they were returned. it was sudden though, and out here, at this time, really wasn't the best choice to confess something so deep, but she did so anyway and was hoping, praying it was the right choice. she shivered softly when his icy breath tickled her skin, yet another soft moan escaping through her maw. who had known she was so sensitive there...
at last the last light of the sun had disappeared over the horizon, and the night immersed the meadow in starlight and moonlight. the scents of heat still lingered, but many were old and staling now; the few that remained were from those whores of the shadows who sought out dragons for lovers rather than knights. she snorted to herself, a hind talon stamping on the earth in annoyance at the thought; the doppelganger who had bruised her side was now a distant memory, only the injury reminded her of what happened earlier in the day. with revenant at her side she had recovered from the shock, and should a 'dragon' appear again, she would not give a moment's hesitation to deal a vicious attack on them. one had to remember that she was no simple maiden - true, she did get scared and fearful at times, but she had fought before, and fought hard. she would do so again if she had to. a soft nicker of disappointment escaped her as he pulled away, immediately missing his presence next to her. azure hues blinked gently as she watched him ever so closely, wondering what he was up to. it was worth noting at the second that he'd yet to give a response to her confession, she mused silently, and another sick knot appeared in her stomach. was it too much? had she confessed at the wrong time? ...or was it just not to be?
her silent fears were crushed almost as soon as they came though; his baritones flooding into her audits like a wave from the ocean. her nostrils flared slightly in surprise, audits turning to catch every word spoken as if it were a life line. he... he loved her back; this wonderful, unbelievably handsome ivory male loved her. the line may have been cheesy, but as of this moment, catalyst couldn't have cared less if it was the most romantic line ever spoken. a dazzling smile broke over her muzzle, navy orbitals shimmering with joy. true, it most certainly hadn't been love at first sight - for either of them; she'd not wanted anything to do with him quite frankly at those times, but now he'd whisked into her life... and she didn't want him to ever leave. navy gems closed as doe-like pistons moved closer to the ghostly king, lifting her dial up slowly to rub her cheek against his, a soft, delicate sound passing through her vocals to the air as words escaped her thoughts. she could feel her heart practically singing with joy, all of her concerns and worries falling away into oblivion, never to return. all that remained was him, his closeness, his touch, his scent... what had she done in her life to deserve this happiness?
ooc ;; kinda got tired when i got to end... so that may be a bit off. xD [/size][/blockquote][/color][/td][/tr][/table][/center]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,392,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#000000]A happy glow had overcome the mare standing beside the off-toned stallion, the catchy aura seeming to sweep over him. Smiling, he closed his sparkling eyes, their depths hidden as he began to regather the lose thoughts within his mind. Tail swayed slowly over his hindquarters, welcoming the warm air that seethed over his sensitive skin. In all honesty, he didn't mind the stickiness of the spring air, the good mood that he had been placed it not being spoiled by the hotness close to his skin. As the chestnut femora placed her cheek against his, a soft wuffle escaped him, nostrils quivering as he gently nuzzled her back. An ear tilted forward, as his muzzle trailed from the side of her pretty face, down to her neck. A realization had come to him, and perhaps their playful banter from earlier could continue.
Nose went to the delicate skin underneath her tresses, prodding it gently, before breathing a gust of cold air from his nostrils. His body moved along her side, nose following suit, gently grazing along the chestnut's barrel. Revenant then brought his nose to the mare's hindquarters, nipping at them gently, all the while breathing cold air against her skin. The ghostly knight brought his muzzle from her skin, glancing back at her, an ear tilted at her in case she told him to stop. Of course, she could always reach out with her hind legs and kick him. At that thought, he snorted. He knew that Cata wouldn't hurt him in any way, despite being the tough mare she was. Golden-green eyes drifted upwards to the starry skies, marveling at how fast night had taken hold of the isle.
My dear, we should really think about getting back to Felwood. Unless... you had something else on your mind, Revenant's voice floated upon the evening air, snowflakes spiraling from his body, falling upon Catalyst's chestnut coat. Now his mind was getting to him, the fantasies that had been roaming the dark corners of his mind pushing forward. Of course, he hadn't forgotten that the angel beside him was in heat. But, he wasn't going to pressure her into doing anything, if she didn't want to do anything.

[/color] - i'll love you for a thousand more === - It had been a while since they'd left felwood's borders, hadn't it been? in all truth and honesty catalyst had long forgotten how long they'd been out there; sure, she'd known the night had taken the isle now, but it had slipped her mind as to what time she'd entered these lands in the first place now. when she had, she'd immediately been swarmed by possible suitors, all of whom couldn't even begin to come close to revenant and whom had been chased away, either by herself or her ghostly lord. now they seemed to be truly alone, under the spring moon in a clear night sky with no unwelcome eyes to ruin this moment. a pleasurable shiver ran unhindered through her dainty figure when he ran his muzzle over her cheek and down her serpentine, her orbs still remaining hidden behind her lashes. the brush of cold breath that fell over the sensitive flesh beneath her banner suddenly ripped a gentle gasp from her throat, ruby satellites falling back halfway upon her crown, a more violent but still nonetheless pleasurable tremble racing through her spine. the ivory form then began to move, slowly trailing along her side, muzzle grazing over her form and icy breath tickling at her nerves. as he reached her hindquarters, she felt his ivories upon her flesh, the mix of the sharp but ever so gentle nips and the blasts of his breath sending her into all kinds of spirals as her skin crawled beneath her ruby coat. the sensations had her panting gently, nostrils flaring as she instinctively tried to regain some semblance of control over herself...
then, his touch was gone from her bodice, and his vocals echoed through the warm night air. shimmering azure glanced back at where he stood, and a devilish smirk crossed her maw, mischief glowing from behind her optics. other things? oh, he really had no idea did he? innocent as she may be when it came to seduction, she had a pretty good idea what she wanted. it hadn't escaped her mind either, of the condition she was currently in, or the reason behind why she was here in the first place. the discomfort of her season had been there through the entirety she'd spent with revenant, she'd just had something to distract her from it. but now, the burn was pushing to the forefront, as if his words had served as some sort of trigger for it. but before that, why not have a bit of fun as well? it wasn't fair that he'd worked her up and she'd not had the same chance after all. without replying, the copper femme suddenly turned around to face the grey, allowing her orbs to travel of his figure appreciatively, her smirk widening ever so slowly. boa stretched towards the majestic male, eyelids lowering halfway to hide her sparkling optics behind her lashes as she began to run her muzzle up his own serpentine, alternating between lipping and nipping at his flesh teasingly. she moved slowly, running her lips over his wither and up to his spine, her warm and gentle breath escaping from her nostrils every now and then as she kept her sight discreetly trained on his features for a response.
her dial slowly turned, running her muzzle up to his silvery locks, gently grabbing a few of the strands and tugging slightly, timing a flick of her tassel with the tug to release more of her perfumes for him to smell. "oh, i believe i can think of something..." then suddenly, she was gone from his side, prancing away with a playful jump, stopping just out of his reach and throwing a heated look over her wither. "that is, if you're interested..." her tones were now a siren's song, filled with heat and promise. she wanted this, but the question now was... would revenant, the ice lord, dare to play with the fire that was catalyst?
