The rosey coloured mare was the first to speak out of the two. She said that her calling was Ice Rose. "Nice to meet you Ice Rose." he said with a bob of his head. He could tell now that she was of Arabian heritage, just like himself. Unlike his thick fur, she had thinner fur. Lassan had been born here and was accustomed to the frigid temperatures. It looked as if Ice Rose was not used to this. "A bit nippy out here isn't it?" he asked, just trying to make casual conversation.
Lassan then turned his attention to the stallion as he began to speak. He said that his name was Hollow. Lassan nodded in his direction as well. The black stallion's keen eye picked up on Hollow's lingering gaze to the pink mare. Lassan smiled to himself. The start of young love. It reminded him so much of his younger days, when he had met the love of his life, River. She was only to be taken away from him a short time later by death.
After a momentof silence Lassan asked the pair "Do you two belong to a herd? Or are you just wanderers in this vast land?" He was curious. He would love to add two more memebrs to his herd.

The cremello stallion's ears pricked forth with the slight accustomed interest as the Arabian stag spoke, his question lingered with resounding tone into the mind of Hollow. The vast plains of snow where not enough to mask, nor distract the paint from the shivers racking the mare's frame, brought even more to the attention of himself by Lassan. Quietly, he considered this all, blue oculars scanning the landscape as strands of his mane whipped about him. Mixed in breeds and of tame decent, he was still curious as to the intentions of the dark pelted stallion before him.
"I am a wanderer, as one would expect," His face gave a small hint of smile as he hinted upon the normal standards of his gender as well as size. Snorting slightly, the stallion shivered once more as an icy wind hit.

"No. It's not bad. Just a body reaction." She said, still quiet with her tone. "I've wandered alone my whole life here." She was still edgy(Rambling...sorta.-.-) about the situation at hand. She wasn't use to those who could ignore that stand-out tri rose colors. She remembered as a foal when she first realized her oddity. She was mad, crying, upset. Her mother finally forced her away, and never found out why. She had ran to the beach. It was quiet there, and most horses weren't there to bug her, annoy her, or even upset her. She was in the beach's water when she looked at her reflection and then she under stood the whole 'Pinky' joke the other foals would say to her. She mentally sighed as her own painful memories came to her. But as her name suggest, she stood like solid ice, giving no signs to her emotions to her memories.

Lassan listened to the two equines as the took turns telling him that they did not have a herd, they were both wanderers. Lassan could understand about Hollow. Most horses, especially stallions, were weary of having other stallions join there herd. Lassan personally did not have a problem with it. The stallions he had in his herd respected him and were his friends. That was just the way the light horses worked. It was a pretty nice set up.
As for Ice Rose, Lassan could not imagine why she did not have aherd. She was nice and pretty, a double bonus. Perhaps they thought her colour odd? But with all the elementals around that was a bit strange, one would think that they would be used to strange colours and markings thses days.
"If either of you would like, you could accompany me to my land. I would more than happy to have both of you. There is plenty of food for everyone, plus other horses. You may leave when ever you wish." he said, making sure to add the last part on. Lassan hated it when leaders demended that once a horse joined a herd, they were bound to it for life. Or even if a horse wanted to go out of the land for a while, Lassan saw no problem with that, just as long as they let someone know where they were headed off to. If something were to happen to them Lassan would never forgive himself.

The patchwork stag's ears swiveled to prick themselves forth with complete appearance of altogether attentiveness as Lassan spoke clearly each syllable of the offer. Mind reeling, Hollow's features seemed to almost freeze with consideration as the possibility turned itself over in the vast expanse of mind. A shiver raced down and across the stallion's spine as no memory of herd life came to greet his sorting thoughts. There was not an ounce of it left for him to grasp as a compelling sense of curiosity overtook each fabric, seeping into the pores with a sudden sense of finality. His head rose, the last sentence capturing for the moment the last scrap of unease ringing to the core with protest. Scared of my Shadow could not suppress the urge to turn to Ice Rose, but the protest was futile as his gaze captured her. Easily, he shifted his attention back to the dark pelted stallion, the leader, in front of him. A smile capture his features as his answer was given in the simple nod of the head, not trusting his words to be with fault.

"Just please don't expect me to stay long. I never like staying in one place for long." She spoke, slightly louder, more of a warning of her unsure sense of herd life for her. She stepped a few steps forward, but kept her distance a bit, so she could some what enjoy the snow on her own. She stood there for a moment before another quake traveled though her. She ignored it again, simply telling herself it wasn't cold, hoping that it would make her body enjoy every aspect of the cold, harsh winters. But all was put to vain. The mare stood there. She could feel her coat was dry, but she knew there had to be a couple pieces of the thin fur iced together.

[atrb=border,1,true][atrb=width,394,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true] | [bg=#3f5676] Lassan's chocolate optics rested on Hollow first. The stallion seemed to be deep in his own thoughts about this opportunity that Lassan had just presented him with. When Hollow finally nodded his head in confirmation, a small smile danced upon Lassan's black velvet maw. He was glad to have this stag in his herd. He would prove to be very useful in the future if need be. Plus, Lassan would have more males to talk to. There was also a bonus for Hollow himself, the mares. Lassan's herd was comprised of mostly mares and fillies who were always looking for someone to chat with.
His head then turned as he heard Rose's voice break through the chilled, winter air. She said that she would join, but she would not stay for long. Lassan nodded in understanding. Many horses were like her. They did not like being bound to one spot, one herd, for too long. It made them feel like a caged bird who could no longer spread it's wings and fly away. Lassan understood completely.
"Splendid!" he finally vocalised. "If you two are ready then, you can just follow me back. Its not that ong of a walk, maybe fifteen minutes or so. Probably more since its so icy out right now." he said as he turned in the direction from which he had come, throwing a glance over his shoulder to see if his new herd members were following him.
