yamanu - orpheus - tuula - haize I can fake with the best of anyone I can fake with the best of em all “If that is what you wish, Orpheus; he is your son. I will leave beneath the cloak of night while my herd mates are sleeping.” It had been many days since Tuula had spoken those words, and she still had a nauseous feeling about the whole matter. Something just was not right about Orpheus’s request. But what could she do? Deny him his son? That surely would not end well – he would have come to Era lands, possibly with an army at his flanks.
The trip had taken much longer than she and Orpheus had planned. The winds told her of her son’s impatience, but there was little the mare could do about it. With two foals at her flanks stopping often was bound to happen, whether it was from hunger, thirst or need to rest.
Four days after Tuula and the foals had started their journey, they finally arrived in the forlorn territory that once belonged to Hannibal. Stepping foot upon this turf put the mare on edge – the scent of the charred outer regions and undeniable aura of evil that pulsated around the territory. Tuula had spent many weeks in Inferno brooding her foal and caring for Orpheus’s too, but this return seemed much more frightening than the last. It was almost as if she knew that Hannibal would be here…
Wandering through the territory, the speckled ivory made it to the lush green center of the dark lands before Orpheus revealed himself. “Good evening, mother,” the young stallion muttered from behind the mare. Tuula turned about with shock to see that her son stood just beyond where the grass turned to char. The young Yamanu started towards his father, whinnying with glee. Haize instinctively followed the colt that she had come to consider as a sibling. However, Tuula let out an alarmed call, stopping the two just between herself and Orpheus. This sparked rage through the hellion’s veins.
The large painted creature reared up as the wind roared with his anger. He landed with a thud with a well-arched neck and a stomp of his hoof. “How dare you,” the stallion snapped as his icy orbs narrowed on his significantly smaller mother. “You dumb wench, trying to keep my son from coming to me! What did you think? That I would hurt him?” Orpheus scoffed before taking a step forward.
Yamanu and Haize shuttered in place – Yamanu instinctively taking position in front of Haize. “Orpheus- I- I didn’t-“ Tuula stammered quietly as her ears tucked back against her skull.
“Shut up! These foals should have no fear for their fate, you on the other hand…” Orpheus tossed his crown slightly ushering the wind to call upon Hannibal. It was time he make his presence known. words | 458 lyrics | Fake it - Seether

you dont remember me, but i remember you.
i lie awake and try so hard, not to think of you. He had been sleeping. Why was Orpheus calling him now? He had been asleep, dreaming, something he hadn't done in quite a while. Eyes opened slowly, as he listened to the sounds around him. He had been dreaming of Tuula; why was the Devil allowing him to dream, he didn't understand. Perhaps he was taunting him. Snorting slightly, the hell-hound pushed himself up from the ground, shaking his body slowly. At once, he realized, that Tuula had arrived. A small smirk crossed his maw, as his painted body changed, his true appearance taking place of his painted coat. He moved from the shelter of the dark trees, toward where he knew Orpheus, Tuula, and the foals were.
The fire crackled upon his mane and tail, as he walked forward, eyes burning lively. That same smirk still held upon his maw, as he stopped behind Orpheus, eyes upon his former mate. If only she knew that Hannibal was here, in front of her, having plotted with her son. Nostrils quivered, catching Marut's scent, and he paused slightly. Was that stallion here too?! But, eyes caught sight of the filly, so much like Tuula, and of course, he understood. This was the little foal of Marut's and Tuula's meeting when he was alive. His jaw clenched, and he flicked his hell-fire made tail behind him. "You called, Orpheus," came Hannibal's hissing voice, much different so that Tuula didn't realize who he really was. She would find out in time. He'd be sure of it.[/blockquote]

yamanu - orpheus - tuula - haize Silent screams and shattered dreams of what we left at seventeen Still lost within the misery and pain that lies inside Orpheus’s ears twitched as he heard his father appear behind him. He could hear the sound of his fiery body crackling and could not help but quirk a brow slightly. Why had he taken on this form? Orpheus had imagined that Hannibal would have wanted her to know that he was back. The stallion shrugged it off with the stomp of his hoof and flick of his tail. The action raised a questioning brow from Tuula – it was a mannerism so familiar to her, an act common of Hannibal. It appeared Orpheus truly was just like his father. And, as his father had he was about to abandon her.
Tuula’s eyes narrowed as she saw the hellish minion and rage seethed through her as she noted the creature’s orbs fall upon her little filly. The mare instinctively bugled to the foals another alarm call. Both foals glanced over to the mare and upon seeing the urgency in her eyes took off into the forests of Inferno. This caused the fire burning within Orpheus to grow fiercer than ever. He immediately started into a trot to chase after the foals; his primary concern in catching Yamanu. Before he could get far at all, Tuula lunged into his side. The small mare had enough force to push her larger son off balance, but he did not fall. Rather, he turned on her. His icy gaze seemed to glow with their rage. He immediately rammed into Tuula’s side, knocking her to the ground. After snapping a harsh bite at her neck, he pulled back with blood dropping from his maw. The painted dark glanced towards Hannibal.
“Devil’s minion, for your aid in taking down my damned family, I grant you this pathetic plague to do with what you please,” he snarled viciously and turned his gaze back upon Tuula. “A quick death would be far too lenient a punishment for the impish wretch,” he added with hatred seeping upon every word before heading into the woods at a lofty trot. The wind swirled, attempting to usher him towards where the two foals had fled.
Tuula’s heart and body ached in unison. How could she have been so stupid? She had endangered herself, her foal, and her herd! She had just wanted so desperately to believe that Orpheus was a decent being. He had betrayed her, and it hurt. Now, she was faced with this hellhound and all by the hoof of her son. The mare quietly but hastily stood. Her ears were tight against her skull, two-toned gaze narrowed fiercely towards the beast. “Why are you here, creature? What tie have you to my son? To my family? Beasts like you have no place on this Earth. Shoo, back to the fiery ash from which you crawled onto this domain!” words | 467 lyrics | Body Breakdown - Dragonforce

you're not alone, there is more to this i know.
you can make it out, you will to tell. Watching what Orpheus did to Tuula didn't seem to please Hannibal, but he didn't show it upon his features. He merely watched, with an aching chest, as Orpheus pushed his mother to the ground. As his son spoke to him, he merely nodded, watching as Orpheus went off in search of the foals. Eyes turned to Tuula, who now spoke to him. Such words stung him; the betrayal of Tuula still hurt him. Why was the Devil tormenting him with such feelings?! Hannibal snorted, hell-fire escaping into the air.
"You act as if you have a right to speak to me as such," the devil's minion hissed into the air, fire crackling along his body as he stepped forward, eyes merely slits as he stared at Tuula. He would show her what it was like to live of fire, to not be able to be with the ones he truly wanted to live with. "You should've known something was amiss, Tuula. Why would Orpheus call for you and his son again? Why would he want your precious mate and your herd vunerable? I've told your son, oh no, not Orpheus, Bolin. I've told him, what I have planned to do. He knows who I am, ah, and I believe his new mate knows it too. He knows my plans, but, he won't come to save you." The fire crackled more lively now, as Hannibal began to circle his former mate, his nostrils flared.
"So tell me, Tuula. Since I have been gone, how nice has it been knowing that your little world was safe? That you could raise your family without fear of the dark?" As he walked, the fire was slowly subsiding from his body, the painted color of his former coat appearing in places as he paced around her, his circle coming even more closer to her. He stopped in front of her now, his body back to it's normal dark color and white, blue eyes staring at Tuula. "How does it feel to know that I am back?"

tuula yesterday i longed to die, fell to the ground, and the ground caught me. now today, i question why i fell, i fell. The mare curled her lip slightly as the hellhound spoke his words as a hiss upon the still air. His circling made the mare obviously nervous although she prevented even the slightest shudder from presenting itself upon her bodice. Two-toned gaze refused to follow his pacing – instead her thoughts and focus lie on trying to summon her powers to do any sort of good here. Nothing. It appeared Orpheus was blocking her powers; he was much stronger than she had accredited him being. Why shouldn’t he be? He had the royal blood of the Eras in his veins and the fuel and ambition of the darks.
The hellhound had spoken of Bolin and how he would not come to her rescue. It was not to say that Tuula could blame him, but it ached to think of being abandoned by both of her sons. And, then the fiery beast spoke the most curious words. She knew him?
His demonic façade began to fade in places, and her stomach felt weak. And, then, a creature more feared than the devil’s minion could have ever been was staring her in the face. Hannibal was back.
Tuula’s eyes fell, unable to look the creature in the face. Her body could no longer conceal the trembles and quakes that wished to overcome it. How? How could this happen? The very thought of his return sent her thoughts to chaos. The speckled could feel her chest heaving as she choked on her very breath – wheezing and coughing uncontrollably. Her life was shattered. Her family… Ears pinned back as she recollected his former words. He was here to destroy them.
A new shudder overcame the mare’s body this time around – this one of rage. Recollecting a proper disposition she glared fiercely into Hannibal’s cold blue eyes. The spell her son had upon her powers could not fend off her anger. She made no call to the Era for help though. Rather, heavy gales swirled around the duo fiercely. The wind sent her tresses to swirl in a fierce mess and the trees to bend and sway beneath her fury.
“Hanni-hannibal,” she managed to stammer out beneath clenched teeth. “You will not touch my family! You have no place on this Earth just as you never had a place in my life – “ the wind made a sudden halt. Tuula felt feeble after having spoken such words. That was not true. She had loved Hannibal at one point, she had, truly. Not even he deserved such foul words. But, she had to protect her family at all costs. What was she to do now? words | 436 lyrics | 100 words - afi

for how long will you try, how long until you walk away?
your façade can't disguise, the fact that you're in misery. "Come now, Tuula. Surely you don't mean such things you say," Hannibal smirked as he could feel the rage reflecting off the Era mare. This only made Hannibal more excited to torture her. Flicking his tail slowly, he reached forward, snapping at her cheek harshly. "Orpheus has given you as a slave to me, and you will treat me with respect. I treated you with such before our sons rebelled against me, and you ran off with that filth Marut." His smirk twitched slightly, as his blue eyes wandered away from her, toward the distance briefly. However, eyes went back to his former mate, and he flicked his ears back. After a few moments, Hannibal turned around, walking a few feet away. "I don't see why you put up such a fight, dear. We used to be so close, what happened to that?" His voice wasn't like it normally was. It was softer, almost loving, as he stopped walking, lowering his head slightly. "Where did I go wrong?"
He shook his head, and looked back to Tuula. "Whatever. Come, we'll go rest before I decide what to do with you." His voice was back to it's hiss, as he headed into the shade of the trees. SONG ! Façade | Disturbed CHARACTER ! Hannibal [/blockquote]

tuula this could be the one last chance to make you understand Her orbs were on the verge of tears as she looked back at Hannibal. She truly had not meant those words! Sure, she had thought after his death that all feelings for the devilish beast were gone, but they were not. Her own words had made that realization clear. She loved Hannibal deep down; her love for Marut was just deeper, or at least that is what she thought.
His harsh nip took the mare from her thoughts. She had had no chance at fending from the bloody gash in her cheek. A pained grunt was her only response she could manage before noting a quite peculiar change in Hannibal’s demeanor. He seemed to have suddenly gone soft at heart. As quickly as the loving demeanor had come did it faded back to the previous cruelty. The change was sign of weakness – of a kind heart – that Tuula would try and take advantage of; a risky endeavor.
“Hannibal,” she murmured in a tone much softer than she had used with him since his return. “You were going to slay me for seeing my own kin; how can you ask what went wrong?” Her voice was weak, nearly pathetic in tone. She watched as he went beneath the shade of the trees. She followed after him with caution, not certain what his reaction would be to her words. “You don’t have to do this Hannibal. Just let me go. My foal and I will leave – you wouldn’t have to see us again. You could forget all about us if you left, but you know you would never be able to forget hurting me, Hannibal. We were close…” words | 276 lyrics | I'd Do Anything - Simple Plan

you're not alone, there is more to this i know,
you can make it out, you will live to tell. "I can't just do that," Hannibal said, and the tone he used was more deeper than before. Eyes were narrowed into slits again, his dark tail swishing behind him slowly. "You need to at least pay for what you did to me. I didn't even get that chance before your loving stallion murdered me." As they walked, the fire seeped up his legs, though that was where it stayed.
His hooves created firey hoof prints on the ground as he walked through the trees, his ears held back against his skull. They were headed toward the pond where he had died. Hannibal stayed silent for a few moments, his mind swirling with thoughts of what he would do to his former mate. Each ploy was more sinister than the next. But would he have the guts to actually go through with any of it?
As he broke through the trees into the meadow, he stopped, his ears flicked forward. The greenery seemed so out of place, and Hannibal snorted, flames erupting from his flared nostrils. The fire subsided from his legs, and he glanced to Tuula, blue eyes cold. "Are you ready for your punishment, Tuula?" He turned his body to face her, muzzle brought up slightly, so that he was staring down at her. SONG ~ You're Not Alone | Saosin CHARACTER ~ Hannibal [/blockquote]

tuula show me, over and over and over and over and over again it never was time for us, it never was time to let me in The speckled ivory held her head low as she listened to her former mate’s words. Why is it he so desperately needs revenge? Why can he not just let it go? All we did was… kill him. The thought caused Tuula’s crown to fall so low it almost appeared as if she were cowering when he turned to face her.
Promptly lifting her crown to height just below his, the mare’s gaze shifted slightly. She knew where they were. So close to the lake where she had doomed him… it truly was all her fault. She had granted Marut the right to slay her mate. She had condemned him to death and hell.
Despite the fear that ignited within the mare’s bodice at Hannibal’s words, she could not help but feel like she deserved what she had coming. Ears flattened against her skull as she reached out so that her muzzle could tap his cheek. The touch was not to request that he have sympathy upon her; she realized now that appeal was not a just one to call for. “You are right, Hannibal. And, it is not just of me to beg that you pardon me for having you slain,” she murmured quietly. Wincing back, the mare expected to be struck at – to be slain. words | 216 lyrics | Over - Evan's Blue

i will never let you fall, i will stand up with you forever.
i'll be there for you through it all, even if saving you sends me to heaven. As Tuula placed her muzzle at his cheek, Hannibal didn't lash out. Instead, he let his own muzzle trace from her cheek to her neck, breathing out slowly. He had done this one time before, she ought to remember it, it had been only one time. But it had been magical. But something was different about this time. This time, malice and anger had filled the dark stallion's eyes, revenge coursing through his firey veins. "I know I should strike you down where you stand. But, my love, you have a foal and herd to tend to. Not at this moment, but when I'm done with you. You shall live, but you are my slave, and I'm to do whatever I want to you."
His muzzle still traveled down her neck, slowly, towards the base of her mane. Hannibal then tugged gently on the strands of hair, wuffling slightly and moving toward her side more. Eyes softened slightly, as his muzzle reached her back. The hellion began to message gently, something he did when the two had been together. "I missed you..." he whispered. tuula hearts are beating faster, and nothing could be harder. i see you getting closer, amity. Orbs widened as she felt the stallion caress her rather than smite her down. A light shudder traveled her spine, and she could not help but carry an overwhelming feeling of anticipation. The mare knew all too well what Hannibal was going to do to her. And, she could not say that she completely dreaded it. Guilt overcame her as she felt almost excited to know the stallion was going to force her; could she even consider it being forced?
Mixed with her exhilaration was a flourishing angst. Tuula knew her former mate well. He had not been overly gentle when she was willing to indulge him, and now that it was as a punishment, she had worry for the condition in which she would walk away from this. And, what of the foal? Would there even be one? Could there be one? Would Marut understand? Could she even look at Marut after this – after realizing she still had feelings for Hannibal? The mare snorted slightly in attempt to clear her mind of all the plaguing thoughts. She could not let Hannibal do this! But, what if that meant death?
Tuula shimmied to the side so that Hannibal’s maw was no longer massaging her spine. Her tail lashed her flanks as she shook her head fiercely. No, she could not just stand by and let Hannibal do this. Her body braced itself into a defensive stance, eyes narrowing upon the painted fiend. “Hannibal, you cannot do this just because Orpheus gave me to you. I was not his property to give. I belong to Marut’s herd. I understand you want your revenge, but this is not how you will get it,” she said affirmatively, yet naively. words | 286 lyrics | Amity - LoveHateHero

i will never let you fall, i will stand up with you forever.
i'll be there for you through it all, even if saving you sends me to heaven. As Tuula moved to his side, Hannibal found this an opportunity to lash out at her. His teeth snapped at her hide, hoping to dig deep and teach her not to move away from him. "I suggest you rethink your actions, wench," he hissed angrily, his blue eyes flashing with fire. He controlled himself though, forcing himself not to mount her and thrust himself into her. Ears stayed pinned against his skull, as he snorted angrily, eyes glaring at the Era. "You keep moving away from my advances, and I will make sure it hurts more each time I do it. And I haven't decided how many times that will be."
So, she had chosen his punishment for her. Forcing her. It wasn't on the top of his list that he had gone over, but it surely would be a thrill for him, and it would hurt Tuula and the Era herd at the same time. If only he could see Marut's look when he found out that Hannibal had defiled his petty little mare. This thought caused his coat to twitch, and he reached out to nuzzle the spot just above where he had reprimanded Tuula. "Now, are you going to back away again?" tuula this is what you taught me, this is what you taught and i learned well, to recognize that feeling easily can be dispelled. A loud squeal escaped the mare as Hannibal’s teeth once again found her hide. This time had hurt worse than the nip to the cheek or Orpheus’s snap to her neck. Her breath was more labored than it ought to be – most likely a result of shock and pain. Once she saw that he was temporarily done with the onslaught, Tuula took a moment to inspect the bloody hole he had left on her barrel.
Her ears were taught against her skull as she arched her neck slightly at his approach as if she were to lash out at him like a coiled cobra. However, she withheld herself as he queried whether or not she was going move again. “No, Hannibal,” she murmured between clenched teeth. “I will not back away, dear.” The mare felt him nuzzling just above her wound and took advantage of the moment. She lurched her neck out towards his spine as her teeth sought to dig into his flesh as he had done to her only moments before. words | 173 lyrics | okay, i feel better now - afi

tale as old as time, true as it can be.
barely even friends, then somebody bends, unexpectedly. Smirking, the stallion glanced back at Tuula's recoiled head. And as soon as she lurched to bite him, his body turned into it's flaming mass, the fire crackling angrily, hoping to burn the mare's mouth as she tried to bite his body. "Now you really think you can inflict pain on me?" His voice was laughter, as he moved away from her, his flaming hoof prints burning the grass where he stepped. "Each time you try to harm me, Tuula, you'll just get hurt back." With that he reared up, and kicked out with a firey hoof at her flank, hoping to brand her with a hoof mark.
It would teach the stupid wench that he was in charge of her, and she couldn't pull any fast tricks on him. He swung his head wildly, flaring eyes staring at her, crackling with it's hellfire. SONG ~ Beauty and the Beast | Beauty and the Beast CHARACTER ~ Hannibal[/blockquote]

tuula Now! Peel the skin back from the flesh. The pain that engulfed her maw as she chomped onto what she had expected to be his flesh was indescribable by human means. It caused the ivory mare to reel back from Hannibal. She instinctively reared as she tussled with the excruciating pain only to feel the same charring flames hit her rump from his hoof. There was nothing she could do quickly enough to prevent the ensuing circular brand – although it was now more of a blackened pile of burned flesh and blood than anything else.
The moment her hooves hit the ground, Tuula lunged forward and away from Hannibal. After a few meters she slowed to a halt. Clods of dirt rained through the air from the motion as she slowly turned to face Hannibal.
The mare’s burnt tongue was exposed as she panted heavily – chest, head, and wounds aching in perfect unison. The thought of running crossed her mind, but she knew that her body was worn from the pain; she could not possibly escape him. And had she by some chance, she would have no hope facing off with Orpheus to retrieve her foal. The once proud, determined mare lowered her crown in defeat. There was no escape. words | 202 lyrics | the prayer position - afi
