Kibitala Ignorance is your new best friend! UNDERNEATH a lonely willow, stood a young mare and a young filly at her side, just a couple days old. The mare was young, too young to be a mother, but it happened, didn't it? The filly was an accident, she wasn't supposed to be in this life. The young mare was named Kibitala, was this is her story:
Kibitala was one of those things that just happens. It's not necessarily wanted, but then again it's not an accident. She was born from a pure Knabstrup mare and a pure arabian stallion. Her mother being a palomino, uniquikly brindled with brown and black, plus her white snowcap dotted with brown and black, she was a true beauty. Her mother was beautiful, mane and tail as white as fresh snow on a crisp winter morning, and her eyes the color of a violet spring tulip. Her mother, Raine, was where she inherited her odd coloring. Her father, the black Arabian, was here she inherited her small form, dished face and agility. However, you could tell she wasn't pure Arabian if you took a good look at her. Anyway, I'll go on to tell you about her dam, Raine.
Sure, she looked innocent. She was abused as a young filly, being owned by humans in the United States before she escaped.
Her humans were cruel beings, forcing and mutating their horses for their own amusement.
They were scientists, and tested a new chemical, that if exposed to female horses, could make them come into heat at that moment. Of course, it didn't work on pregnant mares, but it worked on yearlings and up. Raine was the test yearling, in this case. The humans put her in with a friesian stallion, who would come in later as Quixtant, and the stallion forcebred her. She became pregnant, and they repeated this process three other times. Each time, she was tortured worse by the stallion.
Until one day, her owners were taking her to the president, pregnant, along with the chemical and her past two foals. They were going to show the president, so they could make money, since they used pregnant mare urine for certain medicines ect. They crashed, and Raine was adopted out, since her owners died in the crash.
Her new owners saw how much potential the three in a half year old held as a show horse and took her to Italy to be a grand show horse. She didn't like this glamourous life, and as she was being transported to a nearby island, she caused the wreck, and she swam to Isola, where she was attacked by a cougar in Belle Valle, but Lassan saved her.
Lassan had a mate, plus another mare pregnant by him. Rayne loved him, yet she knew he would never show the same feelings as her. They went running one day, and they ended up in the breeding grounds. Once thing lead to another, as usual, and Raine ended up pregnant by Lassan. Raine was nothing but drama, and got into with the other mare Lassan had gotten pregnant, Artava. They disliked each other strongly, but put it aside in front of their foals Kibitala and Illindream, because they were friends.
Raine understood Lassan didn't love her, and showed him that she understood by going and getting herself knocked up by Masquerade, who is going to play another role in this story a while later.
Lassan was beyond pissed with her, and in shame, Raine left her daughter and the black stallion behind, going to another herd, which this one was dark. A warrior, a mare, came to get her, by Lassan's orders. Raine refused, so the ravens informed Lassan of this, and he came with another warrior, a stallion called by Night. All this stress threw the mare into pre-mature labor, yet she was only a couple weeks away from foaling. She died during child birth, and Lassan ordered Night and Indulaka to take the foal back to Liberta, where he reigned, and give it to the only mare producing milk at the time. The mare happened to be Venom, and she raised the filly, named Flame, as her own daughter.
And this drove Kibitala into depression, and she plotted to kill the filly, and was going to if Night and Lassan hadn't talked her out of it. She came out of depression, with the help of her father. She was a happy young mare until she wondered into Belle Valle one day, and there one of Masquerade's spawn, Jigsaw, who was her age, met her. She got too flirty, which Kibitala was a rebel and lived in the moment. They went to the breeding grounds, where Kibitala got knocked up by Jigsaw.
And, now that you get the picture, this is where we pick up.

__________________________________ The young stallion had been following in his father's footsteps. He hung out at the breeding grounds most of the time, just having fun with mares and fillies. When he wasn't doing that he would be in Aro's lands moseying about and teaching the younger males how to fight, and even some of the fillies if they felt up to it. One horse he hadn't given a thought about was Kibitala. Little did he know, she carried his foal, and he probably didn't care any way.
The masked stallion was cantering through the willowed wood to take a shortcut to the breeding lands. Soemtimes, if he was lucky, he'd even find a mare here before they had found their way into the breeding grounds. It was basically first come first serve in these parts.
Jigsaw was so lost in his thoughts about mares and the ones that would be waiting for him, that he did not see Kibitala just several strides in front of him. Luckily he noticed and skidded to a halt, almost knocking the filly over. His eyes went wide as he realised who it was. Kibitala.

__________________________________ The masked stallion blinked and stared at Kibitala for a few seconds, as if he couldn't process seeing her in his mind. He was rather shocked to see her. Truth be told, he had thought she died. That or she never went out of her father's lands again. Kibitala then asked him what he wanted in a strange, yet quiet voice. "Nothing from you." he almost snapped as he looked down his nose at her.
His eyes then traveled to the filly at, well, the filliy's side. Kibitala wasn't more than a youngster herself. Jigsaw was shocked that she, and the foal, had survived. Especially the foal. Jigsaw already knew the foal was his. Well his or his fathers. She had his family's trademarked hlaf masked face. It would be hard to deny who her father was.
Come to think of it, Jigsaw hadn't heard anything about his father in a year or so. He had dropped off the radar somewhere. He used to hear all kinds of things about his father, and it seemed like every other week Jigsaw would meet one of his half siblings. He had quite a few brothers and sisters. So for all he knew, this filly could be his half sister.
Kibitala then confirmed it was his child. "I know." he hissed out, glaring at the small creature. He honestly wished she had died. For the first time in his five years, Jigsaw felt the need do something. Sure he was in the breedings grounds all the time, but he never had gotten a mare pregnant. Or so he thought.
It was all different now that he knew he had a daughter. For some reason it made him feel proud in a way. Kibitala probably didn't feel proud about it though, nor did her father. Jigsaw couldn't remember if he ever even meet the famour Lassan.
After an awkward moment of silence Jigsaw said "Well, I best be on m'way then." He looked at the pair once more and slowly began to walk past them.
OOC: Jigsaw is a bit of a prat ;P

Kibitala This is the side of you I've never seen You're not the girl you used to be You've got me right where you want me Kibit turned to watch the stallion, her expression immediatly changing. "So do you have anymore children, Jigsaw? Besides your daughter?" The young mare cocked her head, dark purple eyes narrowed. She was going to get the best of this stallion, whether he liked it or not.
Kibi caught up to him, stopping at his side and flicking him with her cream tail. "You don't know how much shamed you've brough on me or my family, let alone my father, Jigsaw." The mare glared at him, ears pinned against her skull.
She paused, and nudged the small filly at her side to step forward. "Look at your daughter. No father. You could atleast giving me some comfort by coming to see your daughter once in a while." Her voice had grown soft, and she watched his face carefully. "I haven't even named her. You shouldn't have a say in what my child's name is," The young filly gave a snarl at Jigsaw before continuing "but, since she's your mistake too, do you want to name her?" Kibi flicked her cream tail and stomped a striped daggar, dark purple eyes still watching her filly's father. Stupid girl, you should've known.

__________________________________ Jigsaw let out a very exaggerated, exasperated sigh as Kibitala started to speak again. Oh he hoped he didn't have anymore children. "I didn't even know that I had one 'til t'day!" he spat, glaring at her with his mismatched eyes. At times, he was too like his father. And right now, he felt like him too. Jigsaw remembered him as a womanizer who had a very short temper and always got what he wanted. That example made Jigsaw what he was today, nothing but an arrogant, pompous prat.
The stallion halted and glared at Kibitala. Shame? Ha! She did it to herself. "I did it eh?" he asked with a sadistic laugh. "Remember, it's only half my fault girl. If you hadn't been there, none of this would've happened. It is you who shamed yourself and your goodyt two shoes father." he hissed continuing on his way once more.
What halted him in his tracks was what came out of the filly's mouth next. She actually wanted him to be around the filly. Jigsaw cocked his head and fought back a small smile. He didn't know the first thing about foals, or being a father, but for some strange reason, he wanted to be in the little filly's life. Even if he wasn't too fond of her mother at the moment. "I give you my word that I will come to see her Kibitala." he said seriously.
Name her? He had never named anyhting before. He stood and stared at the quiet foal for several minutes before saying "Fantasma. She, she looks like a Fantasma to me." Then Jigsaw did something very unexpected, he smiled and touched his nose to the small foal's.

Kibitala This is the side of you I've never seen You're not the girl you used to be You've got me right where you want me Kibit's ears flicked back. Of course she knew it was her fault too, but he took advantage of her insecurity. But whatever.
The young mare shook that from her head and eyes him, her face solemn. Was he lying? "Your not lying, are you, Jigsaw?" Kibitala spoke softly, stretching out to nearly touch him. She was barely a half an inch away from brushing her muzzle along his neck until she pulled away. No. She wasn't falling into his grasp again.
The mare turned to groom her young filly, who was eyeing the stallion curiously.
Kibi stopped to turn and look at him. He had to serious, he wouldn't lie about such an issue as this. This made a warm smile caress away her usual solemn expression. "You do love her." She spoke softly, watching as the small filly's father came over to see his daughter. "Fantasma..." The mare whispered softly, that smile still plastered across her maw. __________________________________ The stallion shot a cold glare at Kibitala when she asked him if he was lying or not. He fought back the urge to give her a dramatic eye roll. If he was lying about that, then he was also lying to himself, and it must've been a pretty damn good lie because he even believed it. "No." he simply said, instead of spitting some snarky remark at her.
Jigsaw then realised that she was coming closer to him, wanting to make physical contact with him. What the hell? His audits flattened against his head as he took a few steps back. A split second later, she did the same. Who did she think she was? After what she blamed him for. After she tried to send him on a guilt trip. What was this mare, no filly's, aim here?
Jigsaw's optics focusd on the foal, Fantasma, once more. And for once, Jigsaw actually smiled. His crown turned slightly at Kibitala's words. Thank you Captain Obvious. he htought. Again, he was trying to be civil here and vocalised "Yes, I do."
Now what? he thought. Do I stay with them? Leave them and come back later? I don't care for the mare, but she has my daughter. His eyes then rested on Kibitala's face. "I will stay." he told her. "Not for you, for Fantasma."

Kibitala This is the side of you I've never seen You're not the girl you used to be You've got me right where you want me "Thank you, for staying with her. But, how? My dad hates you. And your lead's not gonna want me there, my father is Aro's enemy. Obviously." Kibi slapped her cream tassles, dark purple eyes watching him sternly. She had mixed feelings for him, she couldn't figure out which one she truly felt. It was mixed with hate, lust and.. love?
Sure, this stallion was handsome. But not the one you'd want as a mate, Stupid. - Kibi gave a mental eyeroll at herself.
The young mare cocked her head, watching him closely. She was trying to figure out her feelings for him. Hate was what they consisted up mostly.
"You had better quit your attitude around her, I don't want her to have your foul intentions or mind. Or her smart mouth." Kibi told him, sternly. She wanted her child raised as a light, without her father's smart mouth and remarks. And especially not his mind. If Fantasma did have intentions similar to her father's, she'd be the whore of the herd. No.
"I mean, what about her future? Oh wait. Nevermind, I can never take you seriously due to your freakin smart mouth." Kibitala hissed, nuzzling her foal softly. [/blockquote] Muse;; Pretty good? I'm tired. Notes;; :3 Lyrics;; You Stupid Girl by Framing Hanley Character;; Kibitala

__________________________________ Jigsaw gave a small nod as Kibitala thanked him. It really was the least he could do. She then went on saying something about how her father hates him and how Aro probably wouldn't be too happy. The stag closed his eyes for a moment, taking in a deep breath. "I'd feel much better if Fantasma stayed with you in Lassan's herd. Yes, he may be an enemy to Aro, my herd, and even a bit to me, but I know she'll be safe there. As for me, I will go on as usual. But, maybe every other day or so, if you would be so kind as to bring Fantasma, lets say here, for me to visit?" he ended his little dailouge in question, hoping that the mare would agree.
Now she was asking him if he was lying. His head raised a bnit as he narrowed his eyes at her. Yes, you stupid girl I am lying. What do you think?! I actually said all that as some kind of joke? I am true, well mostly true, to my word, especially oer important matters. You may not be important to me, in fact I couldn't care less if you up and died right now, but I do care about Fantasma. Instead of voicing his opinion, Jigsaw merely said "No, I'm not lying."
The masked stallion had just started to relax when Kibitala opened her mouth once again. Did she just not know when to shut up? "I am being very civil right now lass, and I really don't appreciate you telling me that. I'm not stupid, I figured it out for myself right off the bat." he said in a dangerously low voice. If Fantasma wasn't here right now with them, this would surely be a whole different scenario. Kibitala basically owed her very life to Fantasma, just for being there. Did that mare really think that he wanted anyone to grow up like him? No. She had a lot to learn, after all, she was still a child herself.
Jigsaw's ears went back and his orbs became murderous as the next words tumbled from Kibitala's mouth. The stag stalked up to her with his muzzle by her ear. "You are SO lucky that Fantasma is here m'dear, otherwise you may be running and begging for your life." he hissed. "I have been VERY civil and I suggest you learn when you need to shut your mouth. That could get you into a lot of trouble one day."

Kibitala This is the side of you I've never seen You're not the girl you used to be You've got me right where you want me The older filly merely smirked. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I hit something there? Am I getting to you?" Her cold stare bored into him. She wasn't fazed by his threats to her, although, she had every right to be afraid of him. "Cut the crap." Kibitala flicked her cream tassles and nudged Fantasma over to Jigsaw. "Bond with her, she needs to know her father." And at that, Kibi began to graze, putting one of her striped legs forward.
She then rose, remembering his earlier question. "Of course. Every couple days I'll come with her." The young mare nodded and bent down to graze again. [/blockquote] Muse;; eep D: Notes;; :3 Lyrics;; You Stupid Girl by Framing Hanley Character;; Kibitala

__________________________________ Jigsaw's maw turned into a sneer as the filly spoke. "You know Kibitala, here you are worrying about me and my smart mouth, and you are worse than me! Although children usually are. Oh well, you'll grow out of it in a year or so." he said. His voice didn't hold any anger or sarcasm for Fantasma's sake. He really was trying to be a good example for her. He was talking to Kibitala in a voice like a business man would talk to his client.
Jigsaw pushed past Kibitala, almost bumping her in the process, and went over to Fantasma. His whole facial expression changed and he smiled at the filly. His audits flicked as Kibitala spoke. She wasn't going to come with Fantasma sometimes? Wasn't that endangering the poor foal? Why in the wolrd would she send a foal as young as this out alone? Stupid girl.
Jigsaw shook his crown and looked back down to the foal. "Well Fantasma, how do you like jumping?" he asked. On the way here he had noticed small logs that would be fun for younger horses to jump all over.
