F o r t i n b r a s »» Fortinbras could not help but to smile wider when the filly ran around the sand, marvelling at how she sunk into the shiny, wet sand as the waves lapped up ont to the shore. It reminded him a little bit of himself when he was a young colt. "She really seems to like it." Fortinbras commented to Halloween without looking at the mare.
»» The stallion glanced at her as she thanked him for taking Verridith here to the beach. "Oh, its no trouble really. I haven't been here my self in so long." The stag turned to face Halloween a bit more. "You seem like you haven't been here in a while either." he observed. Fortinbras was actually a bit excited to start naother conversation with Halloween. She was just so ... interesting.

and now that i'm stronger, i have figured out,how this world turns cold, and breaks through my soul. Halloween nodded at Fortinbras' words, as she watched her young child. "This is the beach I arrived on when I first got to Isola. I stayed three days here, enjoying my freedom, before going to search for others. When I finally found other horses, it was Carzeth, my previous mate before I met Verridith's father." She sighed sadly, and looked at the dark red sands. She didn't want to dwell on the past; it was such a sad thing. Finally, after a few moments of silence, she look backed to Verridith, who was bucking her hind hooves high into the air as she galloped along the water's edge, her whinny shrill with happiness.
The light bay arabian smiled faintly, and looked to Fortinbras. "I talk too much. Surely you have a tale to tell? You can't have been wandering Isola your whole life. It had to start somewhere in some herd. Or even off the island, with humans."

F o r t i n b r a s »» The stallion listened intently as Halloween began to tell her story. Hers was like most of the horses Fortinbras had ever met. The came to shore, wandered, found a home, a love or two, possibly had a foal, and then they were alone for soem reason again. "Where were you born?" Fortinbras questioned. He had always been a curious horse, and even though he didn't know any part of the world, he still wanted to know.
»» Fortinbras' audits perked as she asked him about his story. He laugh a bit and said "So you really wanna know, eh?" He looked around as if he was in the middle of telling a scary story. "Well I was born here on Isola. My mother, well I only really knew her until I was old enough to be on my own. I hate to say it, but she was, is, a whore and I was a mistake. I sort of.. wandered after that." he said, not really wanting to get into what he did when he wandered. "I then found out I had a younger sister by a year and we traveled together for a while. Her name is Cassandra. Anyway, I was a Dark. A very dark Dakr, if that makes sense. After a few events, and time alone this winter, I sort of became a new horse." Fortinbras looked at her, not knowing what her reaction my be. He had never told anyone any of this before.

and now that i'm stronger, i have figured out,how this world turns cold, and breaks through my soul. "To be honest, I don't quite remember where I was born. So many things have happened here that made me forget where I had originally been before Isola." She frowned, and looked as if she were concentrating on remembering. As he began to speak, she snapped out of her sort of trance, and looked at him while she spoke.
So he was a wanderer for his whole life, and his mother was the type of horse that Halloween would've been if she had continued to dance along the path of a Dark. "I don't understand why horses take sides with any path. I mean, what is the point? It causes pain." The mare shook her head, and flicked her ears back ever so slightly. The bay Arabian didn't know what else she was wanting to talk about.
Verridith looked at the two adults from her home within the waves, and smiled softly. If only her mother would consider staying with Fortinbras a little longer, maybe that hole in her heart would go away. The dark cherry filly turned in the waters, the waves lapping happily at her skinny legs, as she pranced through the crystal liquid, her tail swishing happily. It was nice to get away from all the grass, and be near water and sand.

F o r t i n b r a s »» Fortinbras gave her a sad smile. It must be horrible not to remember where you came from. Then again maybe not, depending on her past back where ever that may have been. Maybe she has a better life here than she ever would back where she was born. Sad thingis all I have ever knpwn is this island. Horses tell me of humans and all kinds of things, but I just have to act like I know what they talk about, it is hard. Its nice to have someone to talk to about my past
»» The stallion pursed his lips as she spoke once again. "Yes, it is rather pointless. The older I get the less I seem to care. The Lights and Darks, I think, just like to cause trouble. I mean if everyone stayed happy in their own little lands, we wanderers and neutrals would not have to worry all the time."
»» The ebony stallion turned his crown to watch Verridith. "It seems like she really likes it here." he commented as he walked closer to the sea, finally stopping when the water lapped at his ebony daggers. He looked back over his shoulder as if he was expecting Halloween to join him.

and now that i'm stronger, i have figured out,how this world turns cold, and breaks through my soul. Halloween watched Verridith dance around in the waves, and had moved forward after Fortinbras, her tail flicking slowly behind her. The Arabian's hooves sunk into the sands, flaring her nostrils slightly at the difference. Deep brown eyes went to the stallion, and an ear flicked forward. "Yes, she does seem to like it," she said softly, and Verridith trotted toward them, her little tail flicking wildly behind her. "Thank you, Mister Fortinbras, for bringing me here! Its really pretty," she gave a little half-rear, sending a small amount of water at the two adults.
Halloween sent out a playful whinny, throwing her head up and shaking it slightly as the water hit her body. Smirking at her daughter, she let her tail flick into the water, then sending the drops at her daughter, who squealed and dashed off across the waves. The Arabian mare watched her daughter run, her ears flicked forward ever so slightly.

F o r t i n b r a s »» The stallion gave the filly a big smile as she thanked him for taking her here. "You are quite welcome Verridith." he said to her, the glee evident in the little girl's voice and facial expression as she bounded off into the surf again. "I used to love it here when I was younger." he said, looking off to the sea, not really talking to Halloween, or himself. He seemed to be saying to someone in a far off land, beyond the sea.
»» Fortinbras' optics shifted as Halloween began to splash her daughter. The filly the galloped off again, bucking every now and then. A coy smile worked it's way ontp the ebony's lips as he splashed Halloween with sea water. Her gave her a look that seemed to be challenging her in a way.

i know, love will find a way, anywhere i go,i'm home, if you are there beside me. Looking at Fortinbras, quite bewildered that he had splashed her with water, the Arabian mare flared her nostrils slightly. Then, a smirk crossed her maw, and she half-reared, sending water back at him. Sending out a playful nicker to him, she bolted off, through the water, parallel to the beach. Verridith stopped in her running to watch her mother, her little nostrils quivering as she caught her breath. She hadn't ever seen her mother act like this, so it was new. Verridith's little head tilted ever so slightly, much like a dog's when you talk to it in a baby voice, and she nickered faintly.
Halloween then turned, after running a good ten yards down the beach, facing Fortinbras' direction. She stared the stallion down, that sly smirk still upon her muzzle.

F o r t i n b r a s »» The ebony stallion grinned whenthe Arab splased him back. he watched her with his chocolate optics as she galloped several metres down the beach. She seemed as if she was finally happy for once since Fortinbras had met her. He then noticed that Halloween had halted, turned, and was now staring him down. This brought a smirk to the stag's maw. He lifted his crown high in the air and let out a whinny as he chased after her, sea water spraying in every direction as he moved.
»» Fortinbras was planning to come to a sliding halt in front of Halloween, but the waves seems to have a different idea. As he squatted down on his haunches, his front hooves got caught in the soft sand under the water. This caused him to stagger and fall forward, sending him crashing down in the water by Haloween's feet. He quickly got up and shook his crown. giving the mare a sheepish grin and looked around as if nothing had happened. Fortinbras hadn't felt like this since he was a young colt. It was nice.
OOC Hey, do you think maybe these three could come across Epona perhaps?

i know, love will find a way, anywhere i go,i'm home, if you are there beside me. As Fortinbras fell forward, Halloween's eyes widened ever so slightly, and the mare stepped forward. "Are you alright?" She reached her muzzle forward, running it along his cheek, to make sure he was ok. Verridith watched the two from afar, her ears drawn back against her skull slightly. She didn't know if she liked how this was looking for the two adults. The young filly turned her back on the two, and looked into the forest. Where was her father? She wanted to see him; she hadn't even gotten the chance to get to know him. Halloween only told her a little bit about Oscurita.
Halloween flared her nostrils slightly, and pulled her muzzle away from Fortinbras' cheek, heat swarming into her face, and she looked away quickly. "Uhm, what now..." she asked softly.

O SCURITA
The devil of the dark...
{hey jealousy, hey jealousy..} The huge figure of a brute stalked through the shadows, where he was supposed to be, where he belonged. Dark coat rippled with red, well muscled bodice skulking along silently, coal daggers brushing through first the undergrowth of a forest and secondly the soft sand of the beach. He'd been wandering for some time as of late, through the lands, causing mischief and mayhem, and unexpectedly had a run in with the lord of the Veggenti herd... it had messed him up a little mentally at first, but he'd survived the winter, and was back to being his usual self, which was dark, unmistakedly dark. He did wonder, with a pang, where Halloween was. Underneath his dark, sarcastic persona, he did feel for the vix. And their child. Which, he then realised, would have been born by now. Where had his head been all this time?
Oscurita decided he would go for a swift stroll across the beach before returning to Aro's land and reminiscing with his fae. Then, he saw her. The same petite arabian bodice, the same glossy orange coat. Steel orbs widened, glittering, only to narrow almost immediatly. She wasn't alone. The dark figure of a brute followed behind her like a shadow, a bad omen, and Oscurita almost rushed to her aid before he realised that she was enjoying it. Chest puffed outwards, a red haze obstructing his eyesight, grinding his ivories, upper velveteen lip curling back predator style to reveal a fine set of teeth. There was trouble ahead.
He eased into a canter, barely noticing the change in pace, and strode along the line of trees until he was perpendicular to the pair. Eyes, cold as a frozen lake in the middle of winter, glared out at the pair, grimacing as the fae, his fae, paused and -his radars pricked- said "Uhm, what now...", running her soft lips along his jaw. He galloped, broad neck outstretched, pearly grinders shown, the whites of his eyes staring out, foaming slightly at the mouth. Crazy. Sliding to a stop between them, breaking their contact, he stood face to face with the other hellion, snarling almost wolf-like, before he composed himself. Never before had he acted like this for a mare. She was... different. Perfectly different. He spun, not turning his back on the stag, still wary, muscles tensed ready for action if need be, before softly brushing his silk maw along the vix's topline, ruffling her mane slightly, before whispering out quietly, "Ello' there vix, it's been a while." Inhaling deeply he instantly recognised her scent, eyes softer, joking.
He swiftly rolled his orbs, locking onto a tiny figure bronking along the shoreline, before she paused and was staring at the duo, then a trio. Corners of his mouth tucked to form a true smile, before he strode towards the teeny filly. He paused some distance, not wanting to startle her, and knelt down so he was on her level. Voice was soft, but could never hide his mischeivous nature - he was eager to find out if his filly also had this in common, "Why hello there little fae, what's your name? Do you know who I am?" Eyes turned from cool steel to molten silver, and he grinned for the first time in quite a while. Muse} Not great.. hope it's okay, haven't rped Oscurita in a longggg time. You can see my heart beating, you can see it through my chest. That I'm terrified, but I'm not leaving, no. Know that I must pass this test, So just pull the trigger.
It had happened all too fast. Halloween was quite confused at first, wondering who the hell this stallion thought he was. Then, the familiar tones of Oscurita's voice connected with her ears, and she flared her nostrils ever so slightly. Deep brown eyes followed the familiar muscular body of Verridith's father, as he faced Fortinbras, and the Arabian soon grew fearful. Would Oscurita try to hurt him? Nostrils quivered slightly, as she stepped back, ears tilted against her skull slightly. Eyes went to Fortinbras, wondering how he would react to Oscurita finally appearing.
When the newer stallion moved away from the two adults to Verridith, the mare sent a whinny to her daughter, wanting the filly away from Oscurita. "Why should she care, Oscurita? And frankly, why should you? You didn't before." The mare snorted angrily, as she took a few steps away from Fortinbras, over toward Oscurita and her filly. Verridith's ears flicked forward, noting the defensive position of her mother now, and she looked to Oscurita. So this was her father! The little filly flared her nostrils, and eyes narrowed ever so slightly. Now that he was here, she wondered if she really wanted to know him or not.
"I'm Verridith, and yes, I know who you are," the little filly said shortly, her little tail flicking slowly behind her body. She moved around her father, and went to her dam's side, quite afraid of what would happen. She was even tempted to go hide behind Fortinbras, but that would've been a wrong move all together. Halloween's eyes narrowed at Oscurita, and she snorted angrily. "You should have no right to Verridith. You haven't been a good father. Hell, Fortinbras has done more in the short time I've known him than you have." Verridith looked up at her mother, knowing what she was saying was true. How would her father react?

F o r t i n b r a s »» "Of course I'm alright!" he exclaimed with a smile on his face. Fortinbras smirked a bit as Halloween quickly withdrew her muzzle from neasr him and looked around the area as if there was actually something important to see. "Well......" he drawled out, thinking of what they could do. "Perhaps Verridith would like to..." he was cut short as he saw another stallion come running up to Verridith.
»» Fortinbras' chocolate eyes went dark. He flattened his ears against his skull and strode up to the stallion. "Who. Are. You." he demanded, standing up to his full height. He did not want the filly to be harmed. If this stallion had the intention of hurting her in any way, he would kill him.
»» Fortinbras then saw Halloween coming up to talk to the new stallion. Obviously she knew him from the expression on her face. Fortinbras backed off a bit, allowing Halloween to approach him. He was still tense and ready to defend the mare and filly if he needed to. It didn't come as a shock to him when he found out that this was the stallion who left Halloween and Verridith alone. This would just make things all the more interesting.

O SCURITA
The devil of the dark...
{hey jealousy, hey jealousy..} There was certain traits of this brute that were dangerous, that made him the dark he is. Sure, he had his good moments, but they were far and few between and most of his appeal is how bad he is, or was. There had come a time when his anger had bubbled beneath the surface, and he had been ready to "settle" down with the only fae that had truly stolen his heart, Halloween. Then that time horse had to come along and screw it all up, and now it seemed she'd moved on.
Cold, steel orbs glared from his vixen to the black stag, watching bitterly as her deep brown eyes glimpsed over to the other stallion with a look that used to be reserved for him. He couldn't stand to see it, face darkening, radars flicking backwards as the vix spoke, "Why should she care, Oscurita? And frankly, why should you? You didn't before." Crown turned, about to reply when he was rudely interrupted by the brute that was trying to corrupt his mare.
Speed had always been Oscurita's forte, even for his immense size, and he turned so swiftly on his haunches to face the cocky brute that a gust of wind was created. He strode furiously up to the stag - the lock that kept his anger under control was so easily snapped nowadays - but he didn't want to lose it in front of his daughter. Eye's had darkened to a glittering granite, teeth grinding together as he spat out a reply, "My name is neither none of your business nor anything that concerns you. I think you should back off, there's a lady and a child present."
Heart accelerated as he heard his little fae's voice, turning slowly to reply, "It's a pleasure to meet you Verridith, please don't be afraid. I won't ever harm you, you know that right?" Radars pricked at the irritated vocals of Halloween, her words stinging his interior like pins, though obviously he didn't let it show: his red face was a mask. "If you want me to leave just say, it's obvious you already prefer this brute, and i'm not prepared to create any excuses about why I haven't been here, because truth be told, no story would be good enough." If she wanted him to leave, she had to understand that he wouldn't be leaving without a fight.

All this confrontation from both stallions seemed to put the mare on edge, quite fearful that their apparent anger could bubble over and harm her or Verridith. The Arabian backed up slightly, ears still pinned against her head, and nostrils flared. "Now hold on just a second." Before this 'battle' got too out of hand, Halloween bravely stepped in between the two stallions, turning and facing Oscurita. Her features had soften now, and her ears flicked forward, eyes watching the stallion closesly. "There is no need to fight. Surely we can settle this without fighting." The mare glanced over to Verridith, who seemed a bit confused as to where her hiding place went until she noticed her mother standing in front of her father. Ears flicked on the little filly's head, and she nickered faintly, taking a few steps forward. The little one's eyes went to Oscurita, then back to her mother. "You can see your daughter, Oscurita," Halloween spoke softly, turning her attention to the stalloin she adressed now, "but, I am going to stay alone for now. Being tied to some stallion, or some herd, is getting boring. Verridith can come visit you, if you want her to, for a little bit."
The filly's eyes widened slightly, and a small smile crept over her maw. So, her mother wasn't going to go back with her daddy, but she was allowed to visit him. The Arabian mix trotted up to her father, rubbing her head upon the highest point she could reach on his shoulder. "Hear that, Daddy!? We can hang out and play!" The little filly seemed excited about the prospect of getting to know her father. However, as she had begun to prance around her father's body, she stopped on the other side of him, staring directly at Fortinbras. Ears flicked, and she gingerly stepped toward him, nostrils quivering. "I hope that you can still be my mother's friend. You are such a nice horse," Verridith spoke softly, "Thank you so much for brining me to the beach, Mr. Fortinbras. I really appreciate it." She turned around, heading ack to Oscurita's side.
Halloween smiled faintly at her daughter, and stepped forward, toward Oscurita. She ran her muzzle gently over his cheek, wuffling softly. "If you ever need to talk, I am here," she said soflty, then moved away from him, toward the water's edge. Verridith had pranced up to her father's side, standing there, nudging at his shoulder gently.
