There a hole in the world like a great black pitS W E E N E Y The ebony stallion stormed through the lands, his chocolate orbs blazing with fury. So this is what he had to return to? Huh. Back then it seemed so much ... lighter. So did he. But now, now he was a changed stallion. He almost felt like a different horse entirely.
But that was his past and he was not going to dwell on it any longer. Chocolate orbs looked around the land, searching for anyhting familiar. Once Sweeney caught sight of a familiar path he broke into a slow trot. The land here had once been sunny and warm; a feeling of joy and happiness spread over it like a disease. Now it was a bleak, misty, barren landscape that seemed to only be home to ravens and the odd hare or two, who were rather scrawny looking.
A sneer crept it's way on to Sweeney's ebony maw. Good. This place was not a bloody happy mess anymore. The dark atomosphere it took on suited him much, much better. He was glad to see that the horses in this place were miserable and finally getting what they deserved. On the out skirts of this land he saw several things that he would have used to try to stop, but now he ignored it and passed by like he did not even see what was going on. Those days were done.
Finally Sweeney came to an opening in the scruby trees. It was the top of a cliff that over looked more of the now dark lands. He smiled as his eyes darkened a bit. Sweeney stood for a while just looking out over the lands, every now and then catching a glance of someone or something down below. He took on a brooding look and began to pace, still looking over the monochromatic mess below. Yes, he was home.

Easy now, hush now hush. I keep telling you, whats your rush?
Lovett
¨ The roan mare walked through Scure, the trees that loomed above her flecking dark shadows across her pelt. Gray clouds hung low over the skies, threatening rain over the island. Irises shifted over everything in a bored fashion. Nothing was ever worth looking at anymore. It was just the same old branches, same old trees. Life was boring and dull now a-days.
[/blockquote] ¨ Light gray eyes shifted up to the cliffsides through the canopy of branches, expression on her mug quite bored and unamused. A spark of interest flared in Lovett, however, when she spotted a large stallion standing on the cliffside, glowering down at all that was below. Her pace picked up to a jog, audits sliding forward and irises glued on the fresian. He looked quite familiar, and then very different all the same. She shuffled through her memories hurriedly, trying to recall where she had seen this horse before. Surprise made her arch her eyebrows when something clicked. "Oi, you up there! What 'ya doin' just standin' there, love?" shouted Lovett, pausing with a flick of her tassel. "Why don' you come and say 'ello to a old friend!"

We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y Sweeney continued to stare at the cruel world below as he paced back and forth. He could remember so many happy days from the past. That was over now. Images of his past flashed in his mind like a motion picture. He closed his orbs and shook his head. No he was different now. Changed and out for revenge.
The ebony stallion turned around as he heard a high, familliar voice. Could it be? As he turned he saw a mare that looked very familiar, yet she looked different. Changed, just like him. His dark orbs anarrowed as she spoke again. Yes, it was Lovett the mare who used to be friends with his previous mate so many years ago.
"Lovett." he said to her, hiss voice not really showing any emotion. At least there was one familiar face that he did not want to kill right then and there. Maybe she could help him. Was her whats his face still around? Sweeney glanced around, not seeing ihm anywhere.
The stag then realised that she was probably expecting the old him. The him that was fun, kind, loving. Well this would be quite the wake up call for her, now wouldn't it? Sweeney moved a few steps toward her with a dark smile on his face. "How nice to see you after all these years." He had decided that she was going to help him. He knew she would too. From what he could tell Lovett always had been a bit infatuated with him.

Lovett ¨
There was definantly something different about Sweeny besides his obvious looks. All the old cheeriness she remembered about him was gone, replaced with a demented state of mind. That much she could tell from the way he looked and spoke to her. It disapointed her slightly, but didn't make her think any less of the stallion. Lovett had turned dark herself, if she wasn't already, after a few turns of events in her life during the past couple years. "Likewise," the roan replied, audits flicking lightly as she gazed up at the fresian on the cliffside.

We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y The ebony stallion kept his rahter emotionless stare, looking off into the distance, just behind Lovett's shoulder. His dark optics flicked to her when she said something along the lines of 'likewise'. Sweeney wanted to roll his eyes and sigh, but he kept telling himself no, he needed her to stick around. There was no reason to go making horses angry. Well only certain horses. Actually just one, the one standing in front of him now.
The silence loomed over the pair for a good few minutes as sweeney began to fidgit and pace a little bit. He never had been able to hold still for long. He quickly stopped his pointless pacing and came down the small cliffside so that he was closer to the mare. Now that he was closer, he could see that she really did look different. Not in a bad way though. Well maybe some horses would consider it bad, but he didn't. She almost seemed to be more attractive. It was almost a change like his own, although his was just a bit... darker.
The Friesian came close enough to her that their faces were almost touching, as if he were analysing her in some strange way. He then turned on his heels and strode off in another direction before stopping and looking back over his shoulder at her. "Care to go for a stroll my dear?" he asked her, the faintest trace of a dark smile on his maw.

Lovett let the silence pass without interruption. She used it to think, gazing at the overcasted sky that steadily began to grow darker and darker. From the corner of her eye she watched as Sweeny paced restlessly on the cliff. Weird he had found his way back here now, after so many years. She had thought he might have forgotten or killed. Most of the mares in the band had thought the stallion that had taken over thought he had decided that he didn't need compitition and murdered him while he was gone chasing him off. But assuming is only useful if you guess right.
¨The strawberry roan looked up as the large stallion made his way down the cliff, eyes not leaving him as he approuched her. Her eyebrow raised as he asked for a walk. But of course, she couldn't refuse. "That would be nice," she replied, before beginning to walk off back towards the cover of the trees.

We all deserve to dieS W E E N E Y The ebony stallion stole another glance at Lovett. She was so different all those years ago, but then again so was he. Better not to dwell on the past. The pair walked in silence for a good ten minutes through parts of the woods that Sweeney rememebred. A few equines they had passed seemed to stare at Sweeney, as if they were trying to make out who he was, or as if the had mistook him for someone else, which they pretty much had.
Sweeney finally broke the silence, not the he did not like it mind you, but he was just the slightest bit curious to what had gone on in these parts during his leave. From what he could tell, Lovett was not with her, whoever he was anymore. That was just fine with Sweeney. Hell he must not have been to important since he could not even remember the poor bloke's name. It would come to him eventually.
"So," he began in a very awkward way as if he never carried much of a conversation before, even though he used to be one of the horses you oculd never get to shut up. "How have things been in my abscense?" he finally asked, glainc to Lovett.
