Name: Burning Eclipse
Nickname: Burn
Moons: 57
Gender: Stallion
Genre: Mortal
Herd: Rogue/Loner
Position:
Sire, Dam?: Unknown
Kin?: Deceased
Personality: "Whatever", could precisely describe Burn to the last sentence. He has that sort of attitude. He is generally negative, and doesn't enjoy socializing. He is usually quite emotionless. Not the one to join in on tomfoolery or other such nonsense. Burn is a rogue and loner, because that best fits him. He couldn't cope with herd-life, and sets out on his own ways. Don't let this side of him fool you, he is eager when something he is good at comes along. Go ahead and try to get a happy side out...it's worth it. Burn is also strong-willed. Not amused easily. An under-appreciated hero.
Skills, Abilities: Intelligence is a valuable thing for this equine. He's very intelligent, and speaks in a knowledgable fashion. Burn is good at tactics, location, and stealth -- very ironic since he is not part of a herd, and has never experienced being a warrior or scout, or whatever other "positions" exist in those collections of equines. Burn has average strength, except that his will is very strong. He's rather good at fighting, but he doesn't use this skill too often.
Vivid Description: Burn is a fiery mix of copper and aflame chestnut. His coat is short and smooth, scarred from rugged life and some gruesome fights. His mane and tail are both long and rugged, sometimes in choppy layers, but still lustrious and beautiful in the keen shine of sunset. One small white sock on his right hind leg. His eyes are deep bronze. Like a hidden dark sunshine, deep within his pools. An all-around handsome stallion.
History: Burn was born a rogue, and during a rare eclipse (thus, his name), with a single sibling, who died young from a cliff-side accident. Growing up with negative pulses, Burn became attracted like a magnet to the chemistry of the rogue life. Once -- only once -- did he want to inhabit a herd. He thought about the Rebellion, but shuffled this feeling away rather quickly, tearing the idea from his skull. His skills would be under-appreciated, and he'd grow rather ignorant, wouldn't he? Meeting only a few other rogue equines, he doesn't associate much. Burn has done some heroic acts, but most are forgotten. A valuable asset to any herd, Burn ironically chooses the life of being alone. He isn't necessarily "happy", but that doesn't matter. What matters is staying sane, and alive. Burn is now, just...rogue. During one of his rogue adventures he stumbled upon a troubled deep brown-eyed fae cursed Calypso. Calypso had promised him company and adventure if he'd help her (as she was in an odd trouble at the time). Admiring Calypso's humor, he did help her, but told her to get lost afterwards. She didn't. After some weeks with the nutty fae who bothered (and strangely became a close companion of Burn's), an incident happened in which Burn and Calypso parted ways. Burn hasn't seen Calypso since, and doubts if she is even still living.
Quick Description: A negative, intelligent, handsome flamed-chestnut rogue.
Sample Roleplay: Heeere it is agaaain! That burning sunset that so resembled Burn's colour. That estranged mystery. It was like an eclipse happening -- but it lasted. Those rushing rivers that carved into the lands. His lands. The handsome stallion stared out, very emotionless. Gah. You've seen it once, you've seen it a thousand-times over. He thought, not impressed. Silhouettes of the hills cascaded from the dying sunlight. Disappearing, finally, the twilight of the late day dissolved into night. Finally. And Burn left his horizon-gaze.
Codewords: Simple, Savvy, Smarts.
