For far too long Fiana had been away from her herd; there was reason, although it was not a just one. The ebony treaded onto her main turf of Lider de Montana with great care. Her crown was constantly swaying. Perhaps the mare was looking for someone? And, then, she stretched her neck out behind her towards a small foal who approached; her bastard child. The mare led her painted foal to the edge of the mountain, where she observed her lands. The lead wondered who had remained in her absence. Her mate? Her warriors? …Ayven? With a grimace the mare turned back to the little foal and then to another, her first foal. Char, too, had been away with her mother. Fiana had not intended to leave her alone during that time. The only choice that had remained was to take Char to witness the forbidden birthing of her half-brother – one who she thought to be her full-fledged sibling.
At first, everything felt new to the mare, like she had never ruled these lands. She was timid about calling the herd to her; it was the newest member that made her nervous to do so.
However, an urgent noise hit her auds, and she lerched back to see a distraught group of ravens flying her way. She listened as they relayed their messages in frenzy. The Zunden were on the rise... a herd she knew little about. She only knew they were of fire origins, large, and wanted to attack her herd first.
Forgetting the fret she carried about her herd seeing her newborn child, the mare screamed into the sky, calling her loyalties to her.

Torchwood The palomino had been grazing on the edge of the lands. Where was Fiana? He had missed her. She had been gone for far to long, and not even takinf Char with her, leaving him to take care of the filly, not that he minded of course. His raven friend Giltrent had told him of Fiana and Ayven and their secret foal. Torchwood had been angry for a long time, but got over it and he had forgiven Fiana, but he still wasn't too sure about Ayven. Fiana had been gone too long. Far too long for him to stay mad. He knew that Char thought the foal was her full brother, so Torchwood decided he'd play along with that for the foals' benefit.
Just then he heard a voice he didn't think he would hear again. Fiana. His crown shot up and be broke into a full gallop, getting to her in no time at all. He slwoed his pace until he was trotting several strides away from her. He then halted a metre or so in front of the ebony vixen, not saying a word.ooc// Ill reply with Phantom in a bit

Amorette.. What's to lose, When you've already lost so much?
The petite mare lifted her head from the flora she had been nibbling on. Fiana. After all those months she had almost thought her lead had died. Too. Well, enough grazing. She hardly ever ate anymore, and hardly felt hungry at the moment. Having lost her mate, her common sense had gone down the drain, also. She stayed in the more secluded parts of Terra De Rocas and kept to herself. Plus the no-eating thing.
She trotted out of the woods and towards the call. Her ribs and hip bones were evident under the pelt of dirty, unkempt fur. Letting out a sigh, she picked up the pace and started to canter. After a few minutes, she saw Fiana along with her filly, Char. Was that another foal at her side? Had Amorette missed that much? Nearby stood Torchwood. The tawny femme slowed to a walk and came to a hault a few strides away from the others. A small, sad smile played on her lips.

Rosabella. Destiny is calling me, open up my eager eyes...
Rosabella's happy hour had been interupted by Fiana's earshattering scream. She had easily strided ahead of Anil, after all, she was a very fast horse. She slowed up as she saw the others. She knew they would look at her in disguist, but she didn't care. She didn't belong to anyone, not even Fiana, and she still had not lost her wild temper. Would she ever?
She thought back to Anil. He had been the only horse who ever really felt safe and sane around her..yet, he was still a stallion. Maybe not as bad as Masquarade...but a stallion. And she couldn't trust stallions. She lowered her head to graze abit, before entering the group. She watched as a few sparrows flew away in fear, and she held in a laugh. She looked up, and saw a few plaetues, looking massive against everything else. And Anil had actually asked her to join him on them...
She waited for Fiana to start talking, and almost hopped that Anil would see his herd members and go converse with them, and not her. She didn't want the others to think bad about Anil for talking to her, and she didn't want him around for her own good, even as a friend. And yet...

Fiana was happy to see that her mate was well, although she was not quick to approach him due to the uncertainty of his contentment with her. When it appeared that he was not angry, the Orlov took a few steps towards Torchwood. With a soft whuffle, the ebony nestled her crown below his own and nuzzled his neck.
Char smiled at seeing her parents together again. However, she was soon bored with the two and their affection. She turned her attention to her little brother; prodding him with her nose and nipping gently at his crest in a loving manner. Bullet was not up to the love though, and he turned to her, nipping her harshly on the nose. This left Char to squeal before running behind her mother for safety.
Fiana turned her head towards the filly hiding behind her and then to her newest foal. Bullet was smiling triumphantly. Fiana gave him a warning glare, and his ears went down at the scolding.
Suddenly, Fiana’s ears perked at the noise of hooves. Amorette had arrived. Fiana gave her a gentle nod in greeting, though there was pain in her eyes at seeing one of her herd members in such bad condition. She had little time to focus on that for now Rosabella was approaching. And, then, Anil.
Anil came in at a slow trot. He had been with Rosabella when Fiana called. They both split paths, and it appeared that each had found their way around the same time as the others. Too Rosabella’s dismay, or perhaps delight, Anil went to her side. However, it was only to giving her a playful nip on the neck. He then flashed her a toothy grin before walking towards Fiana. He stopped at Amorette’s side for a moment, nudging her in a reassuring manner. He then continued, stopping a few meters from Fiana and her family.

Rosabella Then you came along and you changed everything..
Rosabella almost felt good for Anil as he approached Fiana. He was respected within the herd, and watching him assure the one mare-The beta?-made Rosabella feel pretty alright. But why was he so good-hearted? He made it look so easy, to be so caring. She snorted, and watched him stand by Fiana.
But she didn't get it. Now that she thought back, the first time Anil had seen her, he grimaced and turned away to ignore her. Why, now, did he decide to converse with her? Was it a trick? Or was he just bored that day? She decided to ignore it, and turned around to not face him. Lightly she grazed, waiting impatiently for Fiana to start talking.
[[Ugh! Rosabella can't seem to get that buckskin out of her mind! xD]]

`Ayven The mustang set through the land as he heard Fiana's call. He shouldn't have done this. Shaking his cranium, he plowed through the brush till he reached the meeting. Taking a place at the very front, he snorted loudly, looking over his foal. 'fiana?' Onyx optics looking over her features..

Anil stood quietly in his place, his mind mauling over the most recent events. Every so often, the stag would glance back towards Rosabella where she stood alone. He was not particularly happy that she was so secluded in the herd. However, he merely had to reassure himself that she would find her place within the herd; it was just going to take time. Distraction of Ayven’s presence aroused the stallion from his thoughts. Sight of the fellow stag made him double-take at the newest foal at Fiana’s side… Bullet.
News of the affair had never spread, but it was obvious now that Bullet was the son of Ayven. They had a lot of resemblances in color and conformation. His towers lowered slightly, eyes shifting onto the horizon as he thought. Fiana had broken her own set rules. The thought made him snicker, though it was sure to be a contained laughter; Fiana set the rules, so it really did not matter if she broke them or not… she could change them at her whim. Shaking his head suddenly, he diverted himself out of the matter. It was not his business to meddle into such things.
And, with that in mind, his thoughts were back to the lonely brindled mare. He slipped out of the small group towards the front and trotted gleefully over towards Rosabella. His gait was bouncy, head bobbing from time to time. He skidded to a halt, which was unnecessary and spewed dirt into the air to cover the two. Sure, it was unnecessary, but he appeared to enjoy it. “You know, you are a member of the herd now. It probably wouldn’t kill you if you stood with the rest of us.” He nudged her shoulder gently after his mocking.
Fiana’s crown raised slightly as Ayven approached. Her head tilted slightly, pose seeming somewhat relaxed by his presence. She could not deny she still had feelings for the stallion; although, she knew she must keep those feelings contained for Torchwood’s sake. She did love the palomino, too. It was so hard to be torn between the two.
"Ay- Ayven?"
Char looked up at the steed who had ventured so close to the royal family. She whuffled a greeting to the unfamiliar, having only seen him once at their last meeting. Her brother, too, seemed oddly interested in the male. Bullet knew he was nothing like his father, that perhaps he was not his child. Was he right? This new stag, Ayven, well, he looked the most like him out of all the stallions he had seen in the herd. A snort flared from his nostrils, towers against his skull as he thought over the possibilities – unnaturally witty for a foal so young.
OoC' kay so scratch that last post. i got impatient, sozz y'all can post whenever. lol

Rosabella I wanna be free, yeah, to feel the way I feel..
Rosabella rose her head from grazing as Anil approached her, only to be covered with dirt and mud. She snorted, and her ears went back. She shook, as mud flew off her dun coat, which made her brindles look more like lines of mud. Her ears perked at his words.
Join the herd? She felt like it was to soon to do that. Sighing, she looked on. Not everyone was here yet. There was Torchwood. She snorted at his appearance. He had banished her along with Fiana...what would he think of her reappearance? She turned her neck to look at Anil. He was always so bubbly....You better not be seen with the sparrowkiller, Anil. It's bad for your image. She said, a hint of jokingness in her voice. Yet, she was also being serouis. She knew the others hadn't yet accepted her, or where still weary...
The bastards. They acted like killing birds was a crime. Everyone kills something in there life time. Death is natural. Yet they held it against her. they where sparrows, it could have been foals she had crushed. Geesh.

The stag gave her a reassuring smile, “don’t worry about me. Hmph, I’m not scared of the Sparrow-killer. All she seems to be able to kill are little birds.” With a light chuckle, the stag gave Rosabella a taunting wink. “But, seriously,” yes, it appeared he could be serious. The stallion’s posture straightened and his face turned firm, “I am not concerned on what the others think. Fiana has made you a part of this herd now. They have no choice but to accept it. And, I cannot help it if I am better at following orders than they are. Now, come on,” With that, he turned about, trotting back towards the small group at the tip of the plateau.

Rosabella laughed at what he said. Oh, really? Well, I guess we'll find out what I can kill soon, no? She was abit shocked when the mood changed. She hadn't known for long, but he wasn't one to be so stern. And she was touched by what he said, to. She watched as the sunlight danced against his already light coat. All her thoughts and fears settled at his words. How coudl he be so reassuring? She had never known anyone that could really settle her...and suddenly, she saw more then just a foolish colt. She saw a caring stallion, one that had always been there..and one that Anil let shine.
She cantered after him, up the platue to join the others with new found confidence. As she reached it, it was like she could feel everyone's anticapation, but it didn't matter. All she could do was shine with a new feeling towards Anil..not love, but respect. And friendship, a feeling that she never wanted to lose.

Dead Poet ____________________________________ From childhood's hour I have not been As others were; I have not seen As others saw; I could not bring My passions from a common spring. From the same source I have not taken My sorrow; I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone; And all I loved, I loved alone. _________________________________________
The blue roan vixen broke into a canter as she heard the sound of Fiana's call. It had been too long since she had seen the herd. She was up to date with the goings on and everything. The ravens had told her. Since Poet was a quiet mare, she liked to spend time alone and away from noise. During her time alone in the woods of Terra de Rocas, she had befriended two ravens, Heidi and Syndi, who were sisters. Those had been her constant companions. Since they could fly and cover so much ground, they had talked and observed for her. Last thing they told her was about Fiana and Ayven. Poet didn't think it was right of Fiana to do that, she was the leader after all and should set a good example for the herd members, and for her daughter. But even leaders had their downfalls.
The roan halted a few metres away from the group of equines and cleared her throat to draw attention that she was now here. As Poet looked around, she didn't see Phantom the warrior. She had been meaning to find the Arab and talk to her about becoming a warrior herself.

Torchwood The stag watched silently as Amorette, Poet, Rosabella and Anil approached. He was a bit surprised to see the brindled fae back, but he didn't say anything. He was to wrapped up in his thoughts to really care. The palomino stag moved a bit closer to Fiana and brought his crown up a bit higher to look over the group of assembled horses.
Torchwood's blue optics narrowed as soon as Ayven entered. He was still here. The palomino continued to stare the stag down, his auds flat on his skull. He then realised what was done, was done. That didn't mean had had to like, or respect the stag, but he still would treat him sell since he was part of the herd, it would just be done with extreme hate. He shuffled a bit closer to the ebony vixen as Ayven greeted her. Why couldn't he just leave?ooc/ XD Torchwood is pissed Phantom The ghostly mare skidded to a stop as she neared the herd. had she missed much? She hadn't meant to be so far away, but she was busy deisgning a training programme for the warriors. Her chocolate orbs roamed over ther herd to see who was there. Of course the lead and her foals were there. Her cousin, Torchwood, was next to the lead, eyeballing Ayven. Phantom snickered a bit at his expression. She also saw Amorette, the beautiful palomino standing there. And they little raon. What was her name? Dead something wasn;t it? Poet! That was it! The roan was Dead Poet. Phantom was glad to see that she actually showed up for once.
As Phantom made her way into the group, she spotted the buckskin coat of Anil and the brindle coat of ..... Rosabella? Fiana must have accepted her back into the herd. That was good. Right? Must be. The Arab made her way over to Anil and Rosa. She halted next to the stag and smiled a welcoming smile at the vixen. "Nice to see you again Rosabella." she said.
