Sparrow arched her neck and pranced smartly into Terra Delle Liberta without a second thought about it. She intented to join the herd, yes, perhaps, and maybe find her love. As she breatrhed heavily, wonering who was here, the thought of having a love surprised her. As startled as she was by the thought, it was a homey feeling, something she wished to have. She yearned for it.
She peered around through delicate optics, her audits swiveling every which way as she looked for any other sign of equine life. After just cleaning in the river nearby, her coat had shed already and was short and sparkling. Her mane and tail, long and thick, shook as she walked, and her neck arched proudly in the middle of her crane. Snorting, she pranced a bit and then stopped, audits still on the move, listening for anything that advanced her...

Lassan had been wandering through his lands, just patrolling the area when the scent of another equine entered his nostrils. He snorted and lifted his refined Arab head and broke into a flowing trot in the direction the he detected the scent from. Hopefull it wasn't a Dark looking to cause trouble for him or the herd.
He slowed to a walk when he saw the form of a beautiful vixen. He couldn't judge what side she was with just by her looks. For all he knew, she could be one of the Dark's murders. He let out a whinny as he neared her with his crown held high. "Hello." he said bobbing his head s he halted a few meters away from the essa. He waited for her response before he tried anyhting else.

Sparrow let out a breathtaking smile. As her maw transformed, her audits pricked forward, and her optics swiveled to meet the handsome stag that advanced her.
She bowed slightly, tucking a leg underneath, and then took a cautious few steps forward and lowered her head to the ground in what she was taught as a greeting. She didn't know if he knew the greeting, it was a simple test. In the herd she grew up in, she was taught to do this to all grown stags. If they allowed you to stay, they would touch the middle of her neck as a sign of dismissal.
Sparrow had grown up with lights but was a neutral herself. She didn't favor darks, but was more afraid of being targeted by them if she was a light, so decided to be a neutral for her own fears.
She heaved a heavy sigh and took one more step closer to him, and then stood still.
She was slightly nervous to speak yet, as many stag heard her voice like a siren and were lured to her in more ways she would hope for. She was nervous all the same; some stag just heard her voice as breath-takingly beautiful, and some heard it as a call for sex.

Lassan figured that she didn't mean any harm after she bowed a greeting to him. He slightly dipped his crown in return. She then moved closer to him. Lassan smiled a bit, knowing now that she wasn't a threat to any one. "Hello. I am Lassan god of Terra Delle Liberta. What is your calling?" he said. His lyrics were light and carried a mixed accent of Scottish and Irish. Lassan had been born here on Isola Dei Dei, but both of his parents were from the lands with the humans, so he had acquired both of their accents while growing up.
Lassan then began to wonder why such a lovely vixen didn't have a home. Or maybe she did. He just couldn't just assume she didn't have a home, for all he knew she could be here to make an alliance.

Sparrow lifted her head, now only several feet from the entity, and breathed in deeply. She wondered if she should speak, or if she should run now, for fear that her voice would lure him too close. She shook her head. She was a fast little vix, she could escape if he did anything.
She looked into his eyes, slightly nervous. She took a deep breath, and said,
"Hello, Lassan, God of Liberta. My calling is Sparrow the Gentle from the North," she sang out, the chords ringing clear and harmonious against the cool air. As she sang, echoes rang from her voice as if they were in a large, metal room. There were no cracks in her voice; as smooth as velvet, it was a bell pealing against the old wooden trees or flowered grass. It sang out forth, reaching his audits.
She peered interestedly at him, waiting to see his reaction.

Lassan saw the vixen take another step and then hesitate to answer. It almost loked as if she was ready to run from something horrible. Lassan's audits flicked every so lightly as she began to speak, no doubt her voice was as beautiful as she was. "Pleasure to meet you Sparrow." he said with another dip of his head. Once again, her name was as beautiful as her looks and her voice. "Tell me Sparrow, why is it that you are all on your own? Surely you have a herd to get back ot, no?" Lassan now assumed that the beauty did have a home, but then again he wasn't right all the time.

Sparrow frowned slightly at his words, trying to frame her answer carefully. She was surprised he didn't give more credit to her siren-like voice, but glad.
"I have never been a part of a herd, as no one has asked me before. I have tried, but I don't know... they never seem to like me," she murmured quietly, looking down and then peeking up to see his optics.

Lassan's brow raised in response to her words. How could any one not like Sparrow? Lassan didn't know. She was beautiful and she seemed nice. What wasn't there no to like about the enna? "If you don't mind my asking, why didn't any of them like you?" He was very curious as to why this was.

Sparrow chuckled slightly at his response.
"I am not sure, O Handsome Stag, I am not sure," she murmured, flicking off her words with a toss of her head. She didn't mean much by the complementary term. "I would come and honestly meet them and stay for a few days. Within a week, they all sent me away. I never understood what I did wrong. I was honest and kind, I was open to all new allies and friends, but they just..." She choked a bit, a tear cascading from her optics. She had always been alone after her herd was killed by a raid of darks... It was hard for her to speak about, thinking that Lassan would probably turn her away for something she didn't know. Lassan still found this very odd that she did not know why they turned her down. He still couldn't see any appearant reason for her to be rejected. Maybe it was the vixen's personality? Did it change? Lassan had once known a mare who had schizophrenia and had four personalities. She had been rejected by every one after they found out about her disorder. She then came to Lassan and he took her in. After finding about her multiple personalities, he didn't kick her out, he tried to help her. All was good until one day one of her personalities decided that the other three needed to go and she killed herself. Maybe this vixen was like that.
Lassan thewn noticed that Chiara was begnning to cry. He stepped forth with concern in his orbsand lightly touched his maw to hers to try and comfort her. "Chiara if you need some where to go, you are more than welcome to stay here in Terra Delle Liberta."

Chiara gasped quietly as he touched her; a jolt of energy, sourcing at her maw where his met hers, ricochetted through her body. She pondered it for a long moment, but regained her calm and looked up to him.
"I am forever in debt to you, Lassan," she sang out quietly, tucking her leg under the other and bowing slightly. She looked back up to him and stood up. "Thank you. Really."
She smiled a bit and shuffled a couple steps closer; not trying to be sneaky, but very honestly drawn to him. He made her feel good when she was near him. The closer she got, the better she felt. She smiled again at herself and whuffed contentedly.

Lassan's auds flicked slightly as he heard a silen gasp escape Chiara's maw. He didn't have a clue what that was about so he just dismissed any thought or idea he had about it. His dark optics focused on her once again as she began to speak. She told him that she was forever indebted to him. She then bowed and thanked him again. He jsut smiled and said "You're welcome."
She moved a couple steps closer to him as he glanced around, just being catious. Even though he was in his own land, Lassan was always catious. He shook his ebony crown and said "Would you like to see more of the land?"

A wide smile stretched across her face and she nodded, slowly but eagerly.
"I would be delighted, Lassan," she murmured, and began walking by his side. She peered around at the land, excited to be here, but also a bit nervous. What would it be like? Would he reject her?
She pondered for long moments, used to the silence and unsure if she should speak, worrying about if he was uncomfortable with it. --Low Muse

Lassan smiled, glad that she wanted to see around her new home. He moved forth, motioning her to follow. As they walked through the feild, Chiara remained silent. Lassan found this a bit odd, so he decided to break the silence. "This feild is what we call the Main Valley. Up ahead, where those trees are, is a forest. Once we get in there, there are two paths that split off into different directions, leading to different parts of the land." he said. He remained silent for a few mre minutes and then asked "So where are you from Chiara?"
