ALMOST FORGOTTEN I Dare You
[/b][/size]
[/sup] She enters the claiming grounds at a fast canter, she didn't know why, she was running away, away from Quixtant the Impossible, she hated him, and now she was back to where she started, she hated that, she did not want to be claimed by a unfeeling stud who only cared for one mare, no she wanted a stud who cared for all and would be there, and would chase after her like a cheetah if she were to run away, Quix would not even notice she was gone, he would just stand up on his rock, cuddling up to his precious lead mare. She spits to the ground, then she slows to a stop, and looks to the sky, she hated this, she hated the land where mare's where just another toy in the stallions playroom full of them, she wanted to be treated like a priceless collectible, that was only played with sparingly. Yes, that is what she wanted, the only thing was, she was not sure if there was a stud out there like that, all studs were the same, she hated them all. Her cannons are brought north, high to the blue sky, her pitch black hooves slashing about at the nothingness, there was no one visible here, her fore hooves are brought in close to her bodice as a lightning strike crashes down and rain pours. She lets out a piercing scream that matches the loud boom of the thunder. She lands on the wet, emerald blades softly, soundless. Her giant daggers moves effortlessly over the wet grass. She makes a slight squeaking sound as she walks. Her muzzles is raised twords the sky as a blast of wind closes over her, her tassels are blown out of place, and her icy blue eyes are reveled, the sky goes from blue to the darkest hue of black quickly, she looks at the sky, which now matches her pitch black bodice. Her eyes are revealed. The difference is almost blinding. From black to light, her bodice is the darkest black, her eyes the lightest blue, what a sight it must have been to see.

The ebony stag moved through the valley, his coat matching the now black sky. Infact, he probably looked invisisble to any other equine. He let out a snort and picked up a canter, snow and frozen earth flyring out behind him. His ebont orbs scanned the dark landscape, looking for any sign of life. He was sure that he was the only living thing here at the moment.
He jumped a small log thatwas in his way and then flicked his ebony banner around a few times while he grunted. He slowed to a choppy trot when he caught the scent, of what seemed to be another equine. What could they be doing out here, on a horrid day like this? Lassan didn't know, but he wanted to find out. He picked up his canter once again and follwoed the scent to the source.
He slowed once again when he thought he was close. This equine must match the hue of the sky, just like Lassan, therefore, they would be hard to spot. Lassan halted and let out a whinny, calling the equine.

[/sup] Her bodice was soaked, she was standing in the rain, she liked standing in the rain, for no one would see the silent tears falling off her face, she looks around, her eyes are like two floating light bugs, that was the only part of her visable agaisnt the dark sky, her tall bodice, which usually stood tall and strong was now slumped and sad, she was waiting, she had heard the storys when she was a child, of princesess and ther prince charming coming to save them from whatever they needed, a slow lope is picked up as she goes to the top of a nearby cliff, to scan the terrian, she doesn't even notice the stud beside her for his coat is the same as hers, she does not notice him untill his whinny is let into her ear, and she rears high, and her muscles are showing, a lighting strikes nearby lighting up her features, and the stud, she is rearing, tall proud, her head tucked inbetween her hooves which are tucked close to her bodcie, she lands lightly, elegantly she stands tall staring at the stud, trying to judge him, tall bodice was high, head high, tail high. She wished he would speak, the rain pours down in buckets.

Lassan saw the rearing vixen as a bolt of lightening lit up the sky. She was large and well muscled, she looked very proud. Lassan couldn't quite tell, but it seemed as if she was crying, or had been, althoguh it was raingin so it was hard to tell. He also noticed th e odd colour of her banners, a teal colour. Her eyes were something else, they were beautiful, Lassan couldn't believe that she was real. "Hello." he called out in a loud voice, over the roar of the wind and pelting rain.

[/sup] She studies him, he looked awestruck at something, she just rolls her eyes to herself then she gives a small nicker, as another tear falls, but this one does not blend, for it is the color of a new bleeding cut, the blood red tear. She blinks it off her face quickly, then she listens at the studs vocals ring out, her she shakes herself, water flies everywhere, the rain still pours and she shakes her dark tassles, wet from the rain, her velvet kissers part as she sends her own lyriks in his direction. Hi, they curse me Almost Forgotten, for that is what i am what tis your curse? She studies him more before another blood red tear falls from the corner of her light eye, she doesn't even notice this one and it stay on her cheek for a moment before the rain mixes with it and it falls to the emerald blades beneth them

Between lightening flashes, Lassan caught a glimpse of a crimson tear running down her face. Was that normal? He shook his head and perked his audits as her lyrics reahed them. Her calling was Almost Forgotten, it was beautiful, yet sad in a way. Almost Forgotten, why would a vix ever name her foal that? Oh well it didn't matter, he just hoped that Almost Forgotten wasn't almost forgotten.
"Pleasure to meet you Almost Forgottten. I am curse Lassan, God of my father's land, Terra Delle Liberta" His voice was loud so she could hear him over the sounds of angry mother nature. His lyrics al held an accent, Irish mixed with Scottish. His mother had been from Ireland and his father, from Scotland. Lassan was born on the island, but had picked up both accents since both of his parents lived here, on Isola Dei Dei.
"If you don't mind my asking Almost Forgotten, what are you doing out in horrid weather such as this?" He asked, his decibals still very loud. He then saw another crimson tear fall from the mare's eyes.

[/sup] Almost Forgotten looks at the stud, she notices him look at her tear, his lyriks ring out to her, she hears them, and they seem to float in the air before they really sink into her. Lassan, what an interesting name. She liked it, her mother didn't name her, her father did, Blood Red Hell, he was known all over, she hoped not here, he was a brutal, sick, twisted stud and she hated himShe clears her throat I have just run away from the stud who claimed me, the one who only cared for himself and his lead mare, and i was not wanted there, so i left She turns her dome away at the memory, she can just picture Quixtant the Impossible, letting out an evil laugh because she is gone

Lassan listened to the vixen as she spoke. When she was done, she turned her corwn away from Lassan, as if to try and get rid of the memory. "Thats horrible. How could he do that to you, or to any one for that amtter? Does he even have any members in his herd?" Lassan figured that he, who ever the he was, was a Dark. Lassan truely felt bad for her, and he was angry with the equine that did this to her. "Almost Forgotten, are you looking for a place to stay for the night?" he asked. He was goign to offer for her to come to his land with him, at least for the night until she could find some where safe.

[/sup] The mare looks at the stud when he speaks Yes he has plenty, his name is Quixtant, king of Terra de Mafia she looks down to the ground then to the t[ree tops to find one suitable for the night, but as she hears the studs next words the silent tears falling down her face stop, and the rain does also and the sky clears back to the brilliant blue. For the night? Umm.... D'ya think i could. . . oh nevermind it's stupid really. She goes quiet, and she looks off accross the sky, she shakes herself then she looks at him, and speaks again talking real fast Do you think i could come permentaly? She liked this stud, but would he want a dark mare? He seemed light or neutral. Would he want her? What if he didn't? She bites her bottom lip as lots of questions run though her mind she gulps and wacthes him closely

Lassan nodded when she spoke about Quixtant. Lassan knew about Quixtant aka Murder. The horse had two names. Lassan wouldn't surprised if he had two personalities to match. It wouldn't shock him at all. Quixtant had invaded his land and caused war once before. Lassan felt terribley sorry for her "Yes, I know about Quixtant. I feel sorry for you, that you live in the git's herd for as long as you did."
Lassan looked around as the storming suddenly stopped and turned into normal, greyish winter skies. He snorted and shook his crown. This was odd. Lassan looked back to her as she spoke again. He smiled a bit as she beat around the bush on asking him to stay. "Of course you may stay. Room for every one in Terra Delle Liberta. You will love it there, I'm sure of it. You may stay as long as you would like Miss Forgotten. C'mon and lets get going before any more bad weather comes along."
He was delighted that she wanted to come. Lassan was usually a happy horse that wanted to help everybody that he could. e also had quite a mouth and could keep on talking for hours when he was in a good mood. His mood seemed to change when the skies cleared up.
