She nodded her dome again, greatful for his forgiveness. He was right, she would have lost her life. Thank you. She managed to whisper. Saratoga heard the second part of his request and she turned to face Venom and Polaris. I will do anything I can to help them. She promised as she made her way over toward them, laying nearby. Maybe her warmth would be able to help the little guy. A nicker made it's way out of her maw, motherly instincts kicking in, though she didn't know if she was indeed pregnant or not yet.

Venom sighed and rose up. It was ow or never, she needed him to stand. "Let's see if we can get Polaris to stand."[/size] she muttered. Using her maw, she nudged his side and uncovered him. "See if you guys can find like a door to put in the cave entrance."[/size] she turned to them, waiting...[/color] low muse

Lassan nodded and snorted, still evry disappointed in Saratoga. "I will be back, I am going to make sure everyone is here." he said, directed more to Saratoga than t Venom and Polaris. He lifkced his banner and troted out of the cavern muttering to himself.

Polaris watched his 'father' leave. He let out alittle whinny and looked to his mother and the other mare who he didn't know. He let out an angry squeal and put his auds back when his mother nudged him. He even nipped at her, his auds flt against his tiny head. Why was she doidnt his? He didn't feel like doing anything but laying there. Little did he know that he ould die if he didn't get moving.
As he kept protesting he finally got his front legs firmly out in front of him, waiting for his mother to help him.

Venom smiled, and nudged him, trying to get him to walk. "Come on, it's not that hard."[/size] She walked to the other side of the cave, waiting to see if he would come. She nickered at Lassan, telling him she had heard him. The enna sighed. "I wish Pepper were here to see his colt.."[/size] she muttered uner her breath.....[/color]

Saratoga got up with Venom and waited while her foal struggled to stand. Her dome extended and found it's way under his bodice, providing balance as he began to stand. She watched as Venom went to the opening of the cave. There you go. Kissers smiled to Polaris.

Polaris grunted as both mares helped him up. He was rather angry with both of them at the mnute, making him stand. After a few moments of wobbling, he got the hang of standing, and moved on leg forht, attempting to walk. He fell to the floor, his attempt failed. He continued to get up and tumble down for a while before taking his sure, firm steps around the cave. He then began to wonder who these equine were with him. One, was his mother. The black one that left waas his 'father', but who was this? Perhaps his sister? Or maybe his aunt? He didn't know.
