-ooc \\ seems i missed a lot. lol. lets just say lassan was listening since i dont have enough muse for a long post now. so ill just work off the last three posts  - Lassan was pleased that all his herd members had shown up. He had drifted off, thinking about the goings on on Isola Dei Dei while his herd members started to converse. He had seen the poor injured Artava come in. It was time to take action on this mess. He looked to Shadow and River who were still standing next to him, he gave Shadow a smile and moved forth a bit. Kibi and Drum had still not been located. This was not good. His other concern was Artava's injuries. He than looked to his newest member when she asked if she could help in any way. He was now concerned about Raine, she looked like she was on the verge of having a breakdown. "Alright listen up. We need to find Drum and Kibitala, and make sure Artava and Illindream are okay. Now, if i could get River, Shadow, and Celtic to stay here and help Artava and Illindream, that would be grand. Now the rest of us, myself, Raine, Celtic, Saratoga, Swift, Indukala and Night will come with me and search Terra Delle Liberta for Kibitala and Drum. If they are not found in this land, we will break up into smaller groups and a fwe groups will search out of the land. When we find them, we shall return here, to the valley, to discuss this war. Alright?" |

She shouted. She shook her coat, loose dirt flying off. Illindream stood by her side, shaking and wheezing. "Do not look here1 There in Terra De Mafia, I saw them!" She let her legs stop shaking. "Follow me. Stay here, Illindream." She said sternly, and with all strength, fled toward Terra DE Mafia.

So thats where they were. How had thy ended up there? Lassan shook his head. It didn't matter, they weren't safe until they came back to Terra Delle Liberta. They were still foals and shouldn't have been left alone. "Artava!" he called after her. 'You stay here with Illindream and River! We will go get them." he said motioning to the other herd members. "C'mon everybody lets get going." he said as he started after the injured mare.

Saratoga followed Lassan, pillars at a slow gait and ears whipping about wildly. War... The word replayed in her mind over and over. So terrible that horses would die to fight over land. Pelt quivered under the stress. Pillars moved her bodice closer to Lassan. The lead's company kept her calmer. Nares took in a deep breath and she slowly stopped fidgeting. Where to next Lassan? Lyri questioned as her optics watched poor Raine. She didn't know the femme's history and wished there was someway to help her.

Raine sobbed. Her pillars carried her backwards, away from her friends. Her whole small body shook as she sobbed. "Lassan, Murder has them......."[/size] Hot tears streamed down her face. Lassan looked to his herd and to his newest member, Saratoga, as she asked him where to next. "Well, we shall go and retrieve Kibitala and Drum from Murder or what ever he calls himself. Who's with me?" he asked looking around at his herd. He needed some members to stay back, and others to come with him to save his daughter and her friend, Drum.
Lassan moved over to Raine as she started to break down in tears. He put his maw on her own, concern in his dark chocolate optics. "It'll be alright Raine. Kibi and drum will be saved." He stood there for a few minutes more, just letting her cry.

Raine was comforted by her mate."I love you."[/size] she whispered softly. Raine layed her head down, her neck under Lassan's chin. Tears dropped down from her purple optics. She moved away from the herd, and into the forest to be alone. She wanted to be alone, and needed to be alone. Her white banners dragged the ground. Tears still streamed down her skull. She felt almost empty, but she had her mate......[/color]

Saratoga nodded. I will go wherever you need me, Lassan. She felt terrible for Raine and was determined to help Lassan and her get back their foal and her friend. Orbs watched as Lassan comforted his mate and she smiled. How wonderful it was that they had eachother. Harks awaited for Lassan's order.

Indukala watched the scene with indifference. The 'stang hated to see that the foals were missing, and she would gladly help search for them. As Raine nuzzled Lassan, the mare shuffled in place. Normally, she would hold disdain towards the mare for being so 'friendly' with another mare's real mate. However, today was different, with a different situation. Afterall, a herd should comfort each other... shaking away those conflicting thoughts, the mare trotted forward a few steps. "We should get going, shouldn't we?" She finally chirped out, the whole moment getting awkward for her. Plus, every minute that passed could mean more danger for the foals.

Lassan stood in silence, with his orbs closed, thinking about what was to come. Hopefully they could go in and get the foals with out any trouble at all. Lassan ruffled Raine's banners and pulled away when he heard the lyrics of his other herd members. His optics scanned over Indukala, who was trotting, leading the way. "C'mon any one who wants to join Indukala and I." He broke into a jog and followed behind the dun mare. He knew that Raine and Saratoga were coming, but he wasn't sure about any of the others.
